My husband and I car camped here for 3 days. We loved the service, the team and owner were really nice and helpful. The environment is green and lush and beautiful. The food was great and I believe grown by themselves. The waterfalls were breathtaking, a must see, though the pathway is a bit daunting if you are afraid of heights.
Only downside is we went in early August, and temperatures were about 12°C - 15°C all morning. It only warmed up a few hours in the afternoon. If you are into such weather then you'll have fun up there.

The pizza was brilliant and well priced. The gardens were lovely and peaceful. Well worth a walk up the hill just for that. The $10 each for a guide to walk down to the waterfall was expensive especially when you have 3 or more people to pay for - I think a small group fee fora guide would be more fair. That said, the guide was very interesting to talk to and had lots of knowledge about wildlife. To be clear, the waterfalls are not owned by them but are owned by the water company as the water is captured and piped down to the village. To access just walk past the 2nd sign and turn left and follow the path. It is steep and slippery in places but it’s very pretty view.

The waterfall and the land belong to our familly since 1940s.In Tanzania, land containing mineral or water resources belongs to the government.. the mineral and water.
If you avoid us to access the watefalls, you will be trespassing and it is illegal.

Let's begin with the good things: nice garden, nice view, nice waterfall in beautiful nature.
BUT: the owner of this restsurant told us that the waterfalls belong to him privately and therefore we should pay 10 Dollars for every person to walk there on a very old and dangerous path. And the waterfall was not private at all.
By the way: the meat was so hard that it was absolutely impossible to chew it. The dogs liked it...

This place is a piece of heaven, and the owner and his staff is giving a service which is very authentic, genuine and very high quality.
I have been to this place more then 10 times, and I always go there with my family and friends.
The property itself is very picturesque with an amazing garden, and this time we was there the owner showed us a butterfly park which he is preparing as I am writing this review. The gardens are amazing with a huge variety of plants ,flowers and trees scattered around the idyllic property and the 7 acre property which has a waterfall situated about 2 kilometers from the building.
There is plenty of wildlife and birds around and you can get a 100% feel of how people live here in symbiosis with their beatiful surroundings
When I visit a place like this, where the owner and his team is so dedicated to their work, I feel it as an obligation to write a good review.
The food and drinks are of very high standard of Swahili cuisine, simple but well prepared. The majority of vegetables are grown on the property.
Five stars to this place.
A must visit when coming to Arusha!!!!

Went with friends. We had a great time. Cool place to relax from city noises. Beautiful scenary and also good for hiking. Indeed nature beats all. Will definately go back.

I was very satisfied with this restaurant. Food was delicious, staff was very kind and friendly. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with the view of the mountain. Good for eating after a good hike to the waterfalls.

I got caught up in the moment by the amazing view from the garden! Went with a book but couldn’t read, everything about this place took me to a whole another planet. Next time I’ll just go without a book and soak up with all the serenity.
