Tomok village is the area where you can find a market for tourists, the Batak Museum, and the Tomb of the Sidabutar Kings. It also has a local market area and several cafes and restaurants. It's a pleasant place to take a stroll.

A village filled with historic story and heritage. Fun time strolling the village, sight seeing, taking pictures because it was rare to see how the whole community work and how close they are.

"OLD TOMB OF KING SADABUTAR"
This is a Batak traditional village. In this village laid the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar who is the first man ever set his feet on Samosir Island. Around this place has a market that sell food, souvenirs and others. Not to difficult to find this place because its located a little uphill from main road that through the market. Its good for us to know about traditional of Batak's people when come to Samosir Island.

Tomok is a 5 km walk from Tuktuk and it provides a few attractions such as the museum, Sigale-gale, and many souvenir shops, as well as the King's stone chair. All are in the same area.

C'est là que l'on trouve le petit musée et le cimetière ou repose le roi , on vous confie à l'entrée une genre d'écharpe pour respecter les morts , ne pas oublier de faire un don dans l'urne . Le samedi le village est animé , il y a le marché , nous avons mangé des bananes frites dans l'huile , délicieux . Tout est typique de la région , à voir absolument

L'architecture très typiqque de la région est typique et beaucoup de maisons sont toujours habitées. Le tourisme est peu développé ce qui confère à ce village beaucoup d'authenticité.

terdapat beberapa objek wisata yang dapat dikunjungi di desa Tomok. Yang pertama adalah boneka kayu sigale gale yang bisa menari, disini kita juga bisa berfoto dengan menggunakan tenunan khas batak sambil menari tor tori. ada juga makam raja SIdabutar yang terbuat dari batu. Satu lagi adalah Musem Batak yang berisikan benda benda kuno peninggalan budaya batak, mulai dari alat masak, alat perang, pakaian dan tenunan serta patung-patung dan kalender batak. Setiap tempat wisata tersebut akan dijelaskan sejarahnya dengan baik oleh pemandu wisata yang ada. Sepanjang perjalanan juga ktia akan melalui pasar yang menjual pakaian dan tenunan khas batak. Menarik sekali melihat beragam budaya adat Batak disini. Udaranya juga sejuk sehingga tidak sadar waktu terus berjalan dan saya terkesima dengan keindahan suku batak yang disajikan

The village itself is a short walk from where we parked the car. The tour of the tombs was interesting, On the way back, you can shop for souvenirs and traditional outfits, but always remember to bargain as they have the tendency to hike their prices for tourists.

Went to Tomok Village and also the marketplace. The whole stretch consists of souvenir shops ranging to keychains, handicrafts to traditional apparels.
About 150 meters from the main entrance you will be greeted with The Batak Traditional Performance and Dance. We just observe from afar though a curtain will cover the performance area once the show begins.
Another 50 meters walk ahead will lead you to The Batak King Tomb. No entrance fee but tipping is encouraged.
Another 50 meters ahead will lead you to Batak Museum. A historical and Cultural Museum which explains about the Batak Tribe of Toba. Entrance fee is 5000 rupiah per person.
