This review is for the tour (3) and Geordie's (5).
We attended the 3pm tour. $20 is a bit on the steep side. I learned alot about the Wrigley family. The docent was a bit rote and stiff at the beginning but really started to relax and have fun as the tour progressed--nice to see her smile, she knows her facts. I was grateful for the original black & white photos that are posted in each room because the mansion has largely been repurposed to event and restaurant space (ie, here's Ada's and William's master bedroom suites---and they are dining rooms. I'm not so sure that you couldn't just enter the mansion, grab a seat at Jamie's wine bar (where the tour starts) and wander the mansion yourself.
We enjoyed the marble bar with a bottle of wine. Not an extensive wine list, a few hiccups re: service but generally enjoyable at prices typical for the area.
The gem of the entire experience was dinner at Geordie's restarant. Expensive, yes. But the service (Shelia totally rocks) was stellar, the restaurant management was spot on (Doug was awesome) and the chef is creative (David, thanks for a delightful culinary adventure). I know I would like anything from David's kitchen. And a spectacular view--ask for table 11 if it's just the two of you--expansive views of moutains and Phoenix and the city. We enjoyed a long and beautiful sunset. Kudos to the entire Georgie's team.

It was a very nice tour. Views beautiful. Sloan, our Docent, was very good. She told the story of the mansion and the family's well. My only issue was there were a lot of people so it made it a tad hard to stop and look at pictures of the history in the room you were in. You can go back and tour it all but as my Mom is 91, she was tired so we only looked a couple things. Still, if you have not gone you should. The price of tickets was so reasonable. I wish they would have offered the $15. tour book.

An impressive deco structure now largely repurposed as a VIP annex / function space to the adjacent hotel. There are some original furnishings and art but it has been heavily overlaid with event space décor (here is a conference table and 32 identical chairs; look there's the restaurant dining room - albeit with beautiful views). Glad to have seen it, but at $20 you might consider something else. the player piano Steinway is neat. Tour guide should not give up the day job - likely an ancillary duty in any case - though the large group size suggests that this might actually be a money maker for them.

My friends and I enjoyed a leisurely, delicious brunch with great personalized service, topped only by the spectacular views of the city. Afterward, we were encouraged to tour the mansion and garden area. We learned much about the impact of the Wrigley family in our community and in the country. It was a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning.

Went for a tour only. Compared with other great houses this one isn't that impressive. It is a working restaurant rather than a museum and it shows.

This is such amazing place to visit for pictures and for nice sunset dinner. We took so many pictures and toured the mansion for free. Girls felt like princesses . Valet parking was free too. This place needs more advertisement. Food is amazing

My wife and I were in Phoenix for the wedding of one of my nieces. We found the Wrigley Mansion on line and thought, "What have we got to lose . . . we can kill some time checking it out." What we discovered was a treasure in time. The mansion is beautiful and our tour guide, Emily, was extremely well versed in the history of the mansion and was also able to provide us some very interesting side anecdotes. The Wrigley Mansion is far more than a place to "kill a little time," it is a wonderful walk through history. We didn't stay for dinner, but the menus looked amazing. Next time!

I could have given it 3.5 star because the environment is really nice, especially when you go around sunset time. It has a beautiful view of the city. The meal at Georgie's was really overpriced & the portion was really small & salty. We had to drink lots of water after the dinner. The dining room was very dark, just one candle per table & all the surrounding light was very dim. The music playing in the dining room was loud & funky, doesn't match the classical feel of the mansion.
I advise you could just take a look of the house & its environment, take some pictures & then eat some place else to save some money & have a better meal.

Ein schönes großes Areal mit einer großen Villa. Leider sieht man es nur von außen und somit zahlt es sich nicht wirklich aus dort hinzufahren, Schöne Villen gibt es ja viele.

Are tours offered Thanksgiving day?

Hi, I'm not sure they must have a web site. I don't think they have tours but they do serve food. It is a private club they charge a small fee to join the day of for a small fee. We were there on a film shoot. Mickey
PS I would think that you also need reservations.

There is a ramp to the entrance and an elevator inside the mansion. There may be a step or two up or down to certain rooms (I can't remember for sure). You might want to call to make sure it is totally accessible (602-955-4079).

Can anyone tell me how long it will take to drive from the Wrigley Mansion to the Frank Lloyd Wright House? Thanks

25-30 minutes on average, depending on time of day and traffic. Nice scenic drive though, so you should enjoy it. I would also just tell Google Maps where you want to go, and the GPS will give you very accurate driving instructions, including length of time to get there.

Brunch is only on Sundays from 10-2. Currently it is $45++ for adults, $22.50++ children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. This includes unlimited mimosas/ champagne, domestic beers, and red & white wines.

Interested in Deluxe room for 3 adults but am concerned about a "roll away" bed. Do you have something nicer for this third adult bed? Also, do you have "senior" or "retired military" discounts?
