Great Wine...Great Service

I was able to find a deal online for the tasting experience and I am glad I used it. The wines were very good and the man and woman hosting duo were knowledgeable and provided great conversations. The tasting included at least 6 different wines and also we were able to taste the wines prior to fermentation (Very good grape juice lol). The owner even stopped by and we were able to go on a tour of their operations. Walked away with a couple of bottles and a coaster. Would highly recommend!

Great wine & service

Stopped here for some bubbly tastings. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The tastings are generous in nice glass wine glasses. The interior is very tastefully done. There is an adjoining Oyster Bar which also serves great coffee. I loved this place and purchased a few bottles of wine as well as a lovely Muscat.

No soulless wines!

We were at an event in Healdsburg and met Emily Peterson. She was delightful so the next day we had a free hour, and we stopped at the tasting room. Danny became our friend in 30 short minutes, and we became part of the (wine club) family. We have been to the Valley multiple times and while we sometimes enjoy the high brow places, we truly treasure the places where we feel like family. Last night we opened their 100% Sangiovese and wow, oh wow! You won't go broke buying these wines either. See you guys this fall! Danny get ready, We're bringing some friends next time.

Great wines and an even greater staff

We stopped at Peterson Winery on a visit to Sonoma County and we are extremely happy to have done so. We met our sommelier Danny, who educated us on the variety of wines, the vineyard, the history of the area, and much more. We found Danny to be extremely knowledgeable but most of all he treated us like old friends, like we were part of the family. Needless to say we are looking forward to visiting again and spending time with our new friend.

We stopped here while looking for another winery that was closed. So glad we stopped, the lady inside was friendly and informative. We loved the wines and my daughter got a kick out of the labels. A gem on the ride.

Good wine and great advice

My husband and I did a wine tasting at Peterson after a family member recommended it and we loved it! Bought 2 bottles and the staff there was so nice. We were on a road trip and she gave us great traveling advice and good recommendations for places to eat in the area.

Really friendly, fun family winery. Nice location, up the hill on a shared drive, but still quiet and open. Very helpful and casual, not snobbies here. Special events are worth the trip.

Enjoyable Friday Visit

Stopped by on a recent visit to Dry Creek Valley. We enjoy the area since its lower key than nearby wine regions. Clever concept with tasting rooms from three wineries sharing a plot of land. You can walk between the buildings. Peterson wines were tasty as always, especially their zin. It was a Friday afternoon and not very busy, so we had the tasting room to ourselves for the most part. No issues bringing our infant along.

Always a Fun Tasting!

This was probably our eighth visit to Peterson and, as always, we enjoyed it greatly. Family owned and operated, they have a nice variety of wines, including zinfandel, sangiovese, petiti sirah and Rhone varietals; the zins are particularly good but everything we tasted was very good as well. Low key, friendly and definitely no "snootiness" that you sometimes encounter in larger winery tasting rooms. Prices are quite reasonable. Recommended for any wine lovers visiting the Dry Creek region of Sonoma County.

Great wines with Mike on a busy weekend!

This was one of the few Dry Creek wineries open to the public during a huge Passport Tasting event in late April. We had a great time tasting wine and conversing with Mike. They were quite busy, but still had plenty of time to provide two (complimentary) tastings with additional varieties. Great recommendations from Mike on other top notch locations in the area.
