Beautiful views but extremely bad management of the course. For the amount you pay this was a huge disappointment. We had a tee time for 2:42 for August 16,2023. Did not get out till just after 3 because of construction for those coming from Calgary. That’s great that you tried to accommodate them but what about your customers that arrived on time. We waited on every hole sometimes 3 foursomes behind us. No control. Round took just over 5.5 hours we missed our dinner reservation. I tried to talk to the manger for some refund said they were not there but assured me they would call first thing in the morning. No call. I called 4 times the next day. I was simply told manager too busy maybe they will call me in a few days. Terrible terrible for this pricey course. Played Stewart Creek today 100% better go there instead. Kananaskis you need to be better with managing your course!!!!! We did end up speaking to the manager who said he would call us back but he simply emailed his google response to me so basically avoided talking to us. We are a couple that used points for a hotel stay so we could save money to experience this course - While the manager stated in his response our time to golf was under 5 hours he neglected to include the almost 1/2 hour delay in our tee time as well - our tee time was 2:42 and we were returning the cart at 8:15 trying to rush to get some dinner before 9:00 at the restaurant - I agree with everyone on here beautiful course so unfortunate that this is what they believe customer service is - end of the day this one review does not matter to them and does not affect them in anyway - I am simply including it here for information on how this situation was handled. The course makes good money so some bad reviews are minor to them.

Save your money, go for a hike to enjoy the views. When we arrived we notified bag check staff this was our first time (no directional info provided), after we unloaded our own bags we found our way to parking lot, and then pro shop. The staff in the pro shop were condescending and rude, like they are doing us a favor to check in. Then outside to pickup the cart; it seemed like organized chaos ... several workers running around doing seemingly nothing, or not knowing what to do. Finally got the cart. Golf course is a very flat, relatively open course, I have played much better. The best thing were the mountain and nature views. Golf was just ok
Next time I will save my money and just go for a hike to enjoy the views.

The golf course was in excellent condition. I had beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and played a couple of holes alongside the Kananaskis River. Golf shop personnel were helpful and so was the starter. The starter even recommended good places to take photos on the course. Even though the temperature was in the low 40's when I teed off, i thoroughly enjoyed the round with a nice couple I got paired with.

One of the most beautiful golf courses in Canada! We played the Mount Lorette course, the staff were so friendly and attentive, even driving round the course checking in on everyone and making sure speed of play was okay.
The warm up driving range was well resourced and the whole club was in perfect condition. As visitors we hired clubs which were Mavericks in good condition and were provided with balls and tees. Easily one of the best experiences on our trip and would highly recommend to anyone interested in golf.
You haven't felt pressure on a tee until you've played your shot with the threat of a bear in the woods behind you!

Staff are as wonderful as the view!
We had a great visit to the patio with the excellent views, great food and friendly staff. We will definitely return!

Played during mid week as a solo. Booked through their web site .
The golf club has two tracks I played mount llorette.
Probably 5 tee boxes for every skill level.
The course was in great shape staff were great the starter was amazing and enjoyed his job!! Even came out and checked on how we were enjoying the course!!! When does that ever happen? Fantastic!!
The backdrop of the mountains and the river was unreal! Great round played with two buddies on an annual golf trip from Edmonton.
Green fees were reasonable.
Only complaint was the food both in morning and at turn was stale.
So bring ur own snacks!

Their 72 / 24 hour refund policy are horrible especially when you need to drive a few hours to get there and there and there being many unforeseen circumstances that can occur, ie weather, accident , illness etc…. There is no empathy with the booking desk, they don’t even ask why you are cancelling .. and the t-time has a very good chance to get re- booked again , total money grab here. I won't be golfing there any longer just for that reason, it is a beautiful course but not worth the financial risk, that’s my opinion !

Golf course was in good shape, staff are pleasant even though they are inexperienced.
The Food & Beverage Manager should be fired allowing the terrible sandwiches I had. They were no larger than a dinner roll with one layer of processed meat, no cheese (too expensive) for $8.00. I had to order 2 so $16.00 for 2 dinner rolls with barely anything inside. Not kidding, look at the picture...not much bigger than my thumb.
4 beers and 2 dinner rolls for $72.00 including my tip of 20% for the staff who seemed embarrassed to hand me the food.
Step up Kananaskis, you should know better by now.

This is one of the best courses in Alberta for playable, cost, condition. The staff is awesome and so friendly. The hot dogs are unreal as well lol. We played Kidd this time and the course ate me up but who cares you are in the mountains. If you don’t play theses courses you are missing out.
