Super rude staff!!!!

We had our two dogs with us so I waited near the car with them while my husband went inside to enquire about tasting. They have a very strict rule about no dogs which we totally understand and respect. My husband asked about the wines they would recommend for tasting and asked how those wines were available for 2/3rd the price on Vivino and Wine.com. To which their staff replied “go but it from there”, if you are fleecing paying customers who visit your cellar by charging more, either have the grace to acknowledge the same or explain how you you sell at the cellars is different. Only winery in Paso Robles where we have experienced this kind of attitude!

New favorite. Stopped by on a recommendation from a friend and loved it. Charming Winery with great wine, good snacks and a super informative and friendly sommelier. Located in Paso Robles along one of the main roads, it was easy to find and worth the trip. The tasting is at comfortable tables on a beautiful patio. Loved the We will be Aglianico and Viognier. We will be back.

Simon was our tasting host. His knowledge of wine was incredible, which made for a very informative experience. The wines were excellent and we walked away wanting to return very soon.

We booked a reservation at Pear Valley because they mentioned offering outdoor tastings on their website. However, when we arrived, they refused to seat us outdoors because it had rained earlier in the day & was still a little cloudy. Total bummer! We left & went to Bianchi instead. They were happy to seat us outside without a reservation even though it was a Saturday! We’d recommend Bianchi & avoiding Pear Valley where the staff clearly don’t care if their clientele contract BA.2.

I don't drink but my companions do. I learned so much in our three hours at this beautiful location that I might start! The owner Kathleen was wonderful to meet and gave us an amazing tour and explanation of all they do. It was the highlight of our trip.

I don't know how any one could call this place snotty. The servers were so courteous and helpful. I have been here in the fall and hot summer afternoons and the other guests and servers are all polite and easy going. Absolutely no attitude from anyone!
Look into their wine club because it is a good discount on bottles or a case of 6. We like walking up to the big tree and relaxing, taking photos.

Tom's oak chardonnay and albarino are our favs. They have some good red blends too. The last time we came we sat outside due to the pandemic, but their inside seating area is comfortable if you go when its open.

In the short 12 years of Pear Valley's existence, they have grown to become Paso Robles most snarkiest of all wineries. When Tom and Kathleen opened, they welcomed people with open arms. I should point out that in 2010 I added Pear Valley to my wine tour bus schedule out of Bakersfield. I ran wine tours every weekend for 20+ years. No in Bakersfield ever heard of Pear Valley since they don't sell wines through a distributor (because they are an unknown). I delivered hundreds, if not thousands of new clients to them. I was one of the early wine club members myself (still am). My wife and I stopped by yesterday to buy a bottle of Distraction on our way home from SLO. We were met in the parking lot by two of the crankiest old men on the planet who demanded to know why we were there. I left there wondering the same question. Why was I there? Why was I spending my money there? In a review on Yelp, a reviewer said that Kathleen (the owner) said that Pear Valley "had never allowed groups". That's a complete lie. I served 30 people lunch at that winery every weekend. They all all arrived on a bus together from Bakersfield. They spent lots and lots of money too. Many joined the wine club as well. What happened Pear Valley? Why did you become so snooty? Check your club member list and see how many are from Bakersfield.

Great wines!!! And really nice tasting experience with beautiful views. We had the pleasure in visiting this lovely winery with a plentiful tasting. This winery has a great selection and had so many wonderful wines sample. We ended up purchasing several bottles of wine and mostly likely calling for more in the near future.

Came here on a recommendation from another winery and it did not miss the mark. For us, winery excelled in their whites and has a wide range of Muscats. Great flavors and varieties.

The ports were also on point! There were three varieties and the all hit it out of the park. They are great!

The merlot was also OUTSTANDING!

Out tasting was led by a very knowledgable staff member. She was able to help steer us in our choices by our response to earlier tastings.

Wonderful room and venue on the top of a hill. It would be a great small wedding venue.

This is the place for fresh and fun wines plus hot hors d'oeuvre buffet. A good second or third place to go. I bought several selections and was given a 10% discount because I came with a guide. Chards and Muscat were FLORAL. Crisp and sweet but in a refreshing way. Friendly, easy to talk to staff. Generous pours. I think up to 4 free tastings. Lodge-like atmosphere. Clean, spacious bathrooms. Like I said, a good choice in the middle of a tour.
