No hay parque infantil. NO apto para niños a pesar de la lista inexacta. Esto es simplemente un carril bici a lo largo del río con un pequeño anfiteatro al aire libre que no se utiliza en gran medida. Pero las personas sin hogar son expulsadas y tratadas como basura aquí para que los lugareños de Boulder puedan sentirse mejor consigo mismos. Hay un ambiente muy moderno - Boulder en este "parque". No lo recomendaría.

Como esto se llama Central Park, imaginé algo más parecido al estilo de Nueva York, pero esto era más o menos un bloque cuadrado de espacios verdes con algunos bancos y la mitad de ellos en construcción. El espacio / teatro del concierto exterior parecía intrigante pero no parecía muy en uso. Muchos vagabundos / personas sin hogar sentados en bancos.

There is no playground. NOT kid-friendly despite the inaccurate listing. This is merely a bike path along the river with a small outdoor amphitheater which goes largely unused. But homeless folks get kicked out & treated like garbage here so that Boulder locals can feel better about themselves. There is a very modern-Boulder vibe to this “park”. Would not recommend.

2 homeless emergency response in 3 days

The homeless situation is out of control. I took my 4-year-old daughter down by the creek once a few months ago, and it's not the kind of environment I want to expose her to again. Homeless abound and one began yelling to me about my daughter. During farmer's markets, homeless sit on the grass surrounded by families and openly share drugs, and I'm talking about weed. This Saturday, there was a massive emergency response to a homeless congregation at the amphitheater, and this morning (Monday) there was another team with a fire truck and other police/EMS units out with the gurney among a group of a dozen or more homeless who clearly decided to make the amphitheater theirs. It is not "compassionate" to allow these situations to continue.

Not very big and under construction

Since this is called Central Park, I envisioned something more like New York style, but this was pretty much one square block of green space with a few benches and half of it under construction. The outside concert space/theatre looked intriguing but did not look very much in use. Many vagrants/homeless people sitting on benches.

Relaxing Place to Walk.

Central Park is a great place to get away from the restaurants and shops on Pearl. We watched kids getting an intro lesson into rafting. A nice break!

Lovely park and has the creek flowing thru it. On weekends the outdoor market draws tons of people shopping the food booths of every kind and tasting all the fancy concoctions some booths are selling. Lots of families playing near by in the park. Great place to enjoy and stroll.

This used to be a park...

Today, if one wants to find an open field, they would be better off searching the edges of town. I used to hang out here and there was a great community; the rich have snuffed out that community for affronting on the "image" of the library field. Now it looks like a dinosaur exhibit. I find it ironic the amount of derision of the homeless, coming from a council that spreads propaganda about Boulder being racist because there aren't enough slave laborers for the rich posing as humanitarians.

Total renovation of park underway.

Boulder Central Park in front of the Boulder Public Library has large scale renovation taking place now to continue over several years. It is no longer a destination or a pleasant place to be to go to be near the Boulder Creek. I do not recommend going to the park in front of the Boulder Public Library.

Went for a walk after lunch

Nice place with a pretty view. Great weather and very cool walking path. Place to rent bikes. Hoping to go back later in the week and bike on the path to see it all.

Witnessed the memorial day festival today here and it was full of stalls will huge crowd even though it was drizzling through out. Great place. Right opposite to the Downtown station in Boulder
