The worst massages we’ve ever bad

This spa claims world class yet both my husband and I have traveled all over and this is the worst massage we have both had individually. My back even hurts today afterward. Do NOT waste your money here. I love the hotel but the Hilton massage on the island is far superior. They don’t even allow for a survey or feedback and don’t even speak to you on the way out. I wasn’t even clear what to do after. Awful awful !! My massage consisted of over the cover pushing on me, knuckles and forearms that felt like a rolling pin. My husband was was even forced to stretch vs being massaged! I asked they use the massage gun if needed and was told the batteries weren’t working. $200 for 50 min with 20% automatic gratuity and I would love a refund on both of ours. We looked forward to this and $500 later and I feel worse. And I don’t like to give bad reviews but I don’t want anyone to waste that kind of money.

Best massage ever! We did the Five Senses Signature massage and Gus was amazing! We will be back! Thanks for an amazing massage! Survived my first cold plunge too 😂

Wonderful Spa Experience

Had a wonderful experience at the spa. The treatments were amazing and the staff was friendly and terrific. Will be back again on our next visit.

Amazing massage with Slivina and hydra facial with Priscilla! Highly recommend them both! Above and beyond service and kindness. I left feeling pampered and refreshed. Thanks ladies!

Disappointing

I made appointments to pamper my Mom as a Xmas gift. Granted, it was an extremely windy and rainy (atypical day) so the pool was closed. Knowing the weather was bad, I called in advance to confirm that the spa lunch area was open AND the pool, and was told it was indeed and to come early to enjoy the amenities. Upon arrival, we were told that lunch was not available and the pool was in fact closed. I informed them that I had called an HOUR before arrival to confirm and they said that they would see what they could do... After several conversations and back and forth of what they could or couldn't do (seemed there was no one at the pool bc one guy was sick and one guy left bc his wife was having a baby), they agreed to orange for in dining service to be delivered. (My mother just had knee surgery and was not able to walk back to the hotel restaurants.). They did get us in room dining delivered to the spa but after I had to go back to my locker to get my phone to read the menu, track down people to place my order, go back to my locker to get my credit card, leave the lounge again to pay for the food, etc.. Needless to say this was less than relaxing. My mother enjoyed her facial very much but I had booked a 50 minute massage with a 20 minute scalp massage add on. I have been to MANY excellent spas around the world and never would have imagined that the entire service was just 50 minutes NOT the additional 20 minutes with the scalp massage! I showered and enjoyed the steam/ sauna/ jacuzzi area while I waited for my mother to finish her services but for the price- I was extremely disappointed. After all of that, I was shocked that they didn't offer any complimentary services or a free day pass (they are only $20) so we could return another day and enjoy the areas which were closed due to the weather. My parents live next door, and this could have been a go to spot for me, but I think they failed to reach customer service levels of the price point. What should have been a relaxing day turned into a lot of stress and hassle. A few more notes: the in room dining forgot the French fries, messed up the drink orders and took a long time. I will not be planning to return any time soon.

Perfect massage

I’ve been to this spa a handful of times over the years but my most recent visit was top notch. Claudia went above and beyond to provide the highest level of service and one of my best massages to date. She took her time really getting all my tension knots out and making me feel completely relaxed, even blissful. Thank you, Claudia!

Extremely relaxing

My massage therapist was Olga and she was amazing! I've had some major issues with lower back and hip pain and she was very attentive to those needs. If I lived here, I'd request her every time. Spa itself was very nice, clean. Would highly recommend as a special treat for yourself!

Marvelous Couples Massage

We had thee most marvelous couples massage yesterday! We checked in yesterday and the best thing I did was book our appointment on our first day staying at the property. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Lisandra and Elena did a wonderful job massaging us! We will definitely book another massage !

For the money and the brand name, you would/should expect a superb experience. While the facilities and staff were terrific, my 50 minute "intense" massage was quite poor.

Light pressure though I asked for more twice. The pressure was superficial at all times.

Probably 25% of my massage was delivered via an electric massager, which I could buy and do on my own I suppose.

As a Bonvoy Titanium Elite member, it should have been better.

The checkout staff was deeply apologetic and offered a 10% discount. Also offered a spa day pass, but I'm heading back home, so can't take them up on that.

Disappointing experience.

Service was great

I always feel compelled to get something done while on vacation, however, the prices are CRAZY! That is why I only gave 4 stars...for the price. Location is nice, service was great, ladies were extremely LOUD in the ‘quiet only’ space, but that had nothing to do with the spa itself. I feel like I could have gone down the street and received the same treatment without all the ‘bells and whistles’ for a third of the price.
