My wife and I like watching the latest movies at the Showtime Cinema in Radclff because it is an extremely short dive from our home and they always have the latest movies. The staff are very friendly and helpfull and the prices are just right for seniors on a fixed income.

We moved to Radcliff a year ago an found this treasure. My husband have visited several times and have brought grand children a lot. All movies are $5.00 all the time but also concessions are very affordable also.My grandson loves the video games so we come early so he can play. When games are .25 cents to .50 cents he can play a lot of games. The place is not new or fancy but its comfortable and affordable an shows current releases.

I always love to visit this place. You never have to worry about being gouged on movie or snack prices. We have never had a bad movie experience, and the sound quality is like you are right there on the action. The staff is always friendly and nice and is another reason we will continue to go there.

over many years my family and i have gone to this theater many times. we have never been disappointed. you will enjoy your visit. the sound systems are clear and not overwhelming.

Someone forgot to tell the manager they make their money selling popcorn and drinks for ridiculous prices. Popcorn is cheap compared to most places. Small place but has several screens. It is clean enough. The walls and floors could use some updating. We really like the concept of selling movie tickets at the concession stand. We plan to return.

This is a small theater with minimal frills. The seats are comfy, the establishment is clean (albeit dated), and they have all of the treats you would expect at a theater. The movie quality was good and the sound was just right. Can't go wrong with the cheap prices for daytime shows either.

I've been to this theater a couple of times. I was there about 16 months ago and just attended a movie there today. 16 months ago, I had a good experience but not today.
First off, the folks who run it are friendly and the facility was clean. The good I purchased was also good. I'll now explain why my visit in October 2016 did not go so well. I watched the new Bladerunner movie which, like the original, has many scenes that take place during the hours of darkness. So, when no one turned down the lights, I alerted the staff who seemed kind of bewildered. If you watch a movie that has bright colors, it might not be a real big deal but a "darker" movie just won't work. Anyway, one of the staff asked me to give him a minute and he'd turn down the lights.
Well, they got turned down but you could still see clear across the theater which seemed very odd to me. I gave it about 10 more minutes to see if my eyes would maybe adjust to this. So, I again alerted someone that they still had lights on. 10 minutes later someone came in the theater and found me. This was easy because, again, you could see clear across the place! He explained that they had to leave them on "a little bit" claiming that they'd been sued for someone tripping. He also related that it was a "safety thing." Huh!?
So, assuming said lawsuit is actually legitimate, everyone has to now apparently view movies with the lights turned on slightly. Not at all professional. Movies are meant to be watched in almost total darkness. I should not have to alert the staff to turn down the lights period and then have them only turn them down so far was just weird. Did this totally ruin my movie experience? No, it did not but it just made the staff seem like amateurs to me. Next time, I'll likely just drive the additional 15 miles and see a movie at the theater in Elizabethtown.
If this facility looks at this and listens to its customers, I think they'll see that they can do better. I hope it improves!

We really enjoy our movies at the Showtime Cinemas in Radcliff, KY. I love the fact that the box office opens at 1:30 p.m. and every movie starts at 2:00 p.m. every single day of the week - I don't have to check movie schedules, just show up and watch the newest releases any day of the week! They always have the biggest blockbusters and there is rarely a huge crowd, so we always choose this movie house. There's plenty of close parking, the matinees are $5.00 (before 6:00 p.m.) every day, and the concession stand has moderate prices. The staff is also friendly and helpful. We feel appreciated here and we really like that in a business.

Owner does not show movies for a diverse community. He refuses to show some movies starring African Americans. Have to travel to Louisville which is almost and hours drive.

My family loves movies, and I mean all kinds of movies. Whether it is big on action, big on plot, or big on both we spend a lot at the ticket line every year. As you can imagine, we are always looking for a small ticket price for the big screen event. Much to our surprise, we found it in our own back yard! Showtime cinemas is a clean, inexpensive way to catch that movie you can't do without. $7 adult tickets / $5 kids is the going normal rate. However, before 6pm and all day on Tuesday you can catch tickets for all at $5 each!
What it is - A clean, friendly, and convenient place to catch the latest movie. concessions are even reasonable, if you can say that can ever be said about movie concessions.
What it is not - A large stadium seat or IMAX screen theater. Do not expect the mall size movie complex and airline style ticket counter. It is just simply and old school movie house.
The location does have 5 screeens, but I would recommend catching your favorite in the first few weeks so that you will have the larger two of the 5 to view it ion. I viewed a marvel movie on one of the smaller 3 screens, and it did lose its feel. In contrast, we have seen the last two Hunger Games installments, Thor - Dark World, one of the Hobbit films and never walked away disappointed. (These are larger than what I saw the Star Wars on for sure, of course I was a kid then. )
So the next time you are in the Ft. Knox area and want to catch a flick, be sure to check out Showtime. I think you'll give it a thumbs up!
