Nothing special

Stopped by Short Path for a drink. There is an outdoor patio, but you have you order food with your drink. They don't have a kitchen, but they will get food from a nearby restaurant or peanut place like Teddies peanut factory. The Old Fashioned drink in a full pitcher is 48 bucks. It's home made from their distillery.

Would recommend unless you are DD

This is a very cute place with lots of fun games. The reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because of their cider event I attended yesterday. I went with my friends because I love seasonal doughnuts. However, they would not sell you doughnuts without buying a flight of alcohol. I felt the pressure to buy alcohol for the doughnuts was insensitive to recovering alcoholics, people that don’t drink, and didn’t encourage people to de designated driver. Food purchases should not be exclusive to only people that drink. If you are DD or have given up drinking for health reasons or an alcoholic you should be able to enjoy the festivities without being forced to purchase alcohol.

Hi There, Thanks so much for stopping by last weekend! So glad to hear you enjoyed our space and games. We understand your concerns about offering non-alcoholic options, and we do in fact sell a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, mocktails, and snacks. The donut paired flights were a limited, one-day offering in celebration of our newly released apple spirits. Since we're a distillery, our events often focus on creative ways to showcase our spirits and cocktails while bringing together the community. We hope you can understand and would welcome you back again sometime to try a mocktail! Cheers, Alycia

Best Place in Everett
jul. de 2019 • Amigos
A cornerstone of the “fermentation district”, Short Path is quickly becoming an establishment in the area and a benchmark for craft businesses as a whole.
While small, but expanding, it’s got a lot to offer. You don’t need to be a hardcore alcoholic to enjoy their spirits and mixed drinks. Their lineup (of both drinks and spirits) is ever changing, so you’ll always be greeted with something new when you arrive.
The pouring room (bar) is small (but not tiny) and the decor fits the neighborhood (i.e. repurposed industrial).

So cool

Fun place to visit. Really creative mixology and craft distilling happening here. Check out the blueberry gin!

I kinda like this better than the nearby brewery.

Spirits in Everett
may. de 2019 • Amigos
Over the years their selection of craft spirits has grown. So many craft cocktails to try in a totally unique space. The staff is consistently inviting and knowledgeable about the product and process of manufacture. Take the time to schedule a tour. Street parking might be a walk on the weekends. My favorite spirit is the Ouzo & SPD Gin. Enjoy!

Took a Tour of Short Path
may. de 2019 • Parejas
We came here on Mother's Day since my mother-in-law wanted to take a tour of their distillery. Since they allow you to bring in food, we brought in some stuff for a picnic before our tour and chatted with the staff.

Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and really walked us through how Short Path came to be as well as how they make their different liquors. The tour lasts just over an hour with a cocktail tasting at the end.

Our only complaint was that the staff was playing some music in the bar area that was a bit questionable. We totally understand that they work there too and want to hear music to pass the time, but some of the songs were rap songs laced with swear words. Didn't really fit the atmosphere for a Sunday Mother's Day.

Short Path is a hidden gem in Everett and is worth the visit!

Had a lot of fun!

I hosted a work function here and Alycia was great to work with. We took our group on a tour of the distillery which they really enjoyed and even stayed after to ask questions of the tour guide, Tara. We were allowed to bring in our own food and had two reserved tables. The place is small, but it has an enclosed patio which must be nice for the warmer months. The bar provided several different drinks you could order using their spirits. You could have a small taste of the spirit of choice before ordering the drink. Later in the evening, they offered a trivia contest and our guests really enjoyed it. In fact they all stayed! The distillery is in an old warehouse area and there is limited parking close to the building. There was a lot that we used about a block and half up the street, but there is minimum lighting if you're there after dark. We really enjoyed our event there and I hope to come back just for a social night out with friends in the future.

Great Drinks at a Great Place
feb. de 2019 • Amigos
Short Path is a very fun, very cool place. For the Boston tourist, I'd say it's off the beaten path, but I would imagine that would be fun for anybody with a little sense of adventure. (There's more to Boston than the North End and Quincy Market!) Off the beaten path or not, it's a definite must for all. If I lived in Everett I'd be here at least twice a month.

The building itself is nestled in what's practically an alley, but an alley you can park in, and its interior isn't enormous; with 60 people, it feels full. It's ambient and cozy, and the drinks are excellent, which of course is the main ingredient. They have a variety of cocktails mixed primarily with gin, whiskey, and rum. The bartender who served us was a masterful one, rapidly making 3 drinks at a time all night. We were there for trivia, so it was busy and the bartender had her hands more than full. She never appeared stressed or overwhelmed though. I'd say she was in her element.

Another major bonus is that it's a 3-minute walk from Night Shift Brewery. It would be easy and perfect on a Saturday or Sunday to stop at Short Path for a bit and then mosey on over to Night Shift. Both places allow food to be delivered. We picked up a pizza from Main Street House of Pizza (great pizza) on our way to Short Path, but it's a 5-minute walk, so if you use a ride share, you could just pick it up yourself.

Great Hidden Gem of a Distillery
dic. de 2018 • Amigos
After having a beer or two around the corner, we decided to try Short Path Distillery, and are we glad that we did! They make all of their liquors there on site, they have a great selection of original drinks and the atmosphere has that cool "industrial" feel that works for a distillery. You are able to see their kettles as well, which adds to the feel.

I ordered their Snow Day, which is like a hot chocolate, and it was perfect since it was cold outside. For those who want to brave it, Short Path has outdoor heated seating area where you and your friends can relax.

We can't wait to go back!

Fun seasonal drink menus and great staff
jul. de 2018 • Amigos
I went to a Plant Nite that was held here and had a blast! I have since been many times since for their drinks that change with the season and change with what they have recently distilled. They started out just working with Gin and have moved on to 3 different styles of gin, ouzo, rum, pommeau, whisky, to name a few. They are all spectacular and the bartenders are so good at whipping up the fun drinks that highlight their booze.
It has both indoor and outdoor areas, but there is no AC in the summer so they rely on fans to cool it down. In the back patio area they hold yoga on Saturday mornings and there is often live music year round as half of the outside region is covered and there are a bunch of picnic tables to park yourself to savor the flavors. A great Sunday-Funday spot as well as a pre dinner drink spot. They close early as they do have a heavy pour on their cocktails and don't want to send people to their cars after too much imbibing.
There is no kitchen so you cannot order food, but there are restaurants that deliver (just ask the people that work there and they can hook you up) and sometimes they host a local eatery to sell food on the patio on the weekends.
A very worth-while watering hole albeit is a little on the pricey side of wallet.
