this is a great place for you when you want to spend time with your family. They have museums at the top! They give you a sticker that says "this car climbed MT.WASHINGTON". And it's not even that expansive.

A subida parece infinita, mas valeu muito a pena! Essa subida rende fotos perfeitas, e vc não vai se arrepender. Dirijam com cuidado!

Working in hospitality and tourism is no joke in 2021—especially in a place where weather can díctate the tule of experience people have. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The visitor center was busy but well kept. We really enjoyed our time outside and inside!

This is a pretty amazing place! We tried to the drive a few years ago, but it was closed due to sever weather. So glad it worked out this time. Bring a heavy coat! Winds for up to 52 mph and 36 degrees when we were on top! It was windy and cold.

Make sure to go to the visitors center and gift shops. They are kinda hidden by the bathrooms. Definitely a bucket list thing!

Our family split up and did a run/hike up the trail to the top and my wife took our two small children up on the auto road. We lucked out with a beautiful sunny day, so we got wonderful 360 degree views! Weather can be very volatile though, so make sure you check the forecast and always bring warm clothes as it is always at least a bit windy and chilly at the top. The run/hike up was well market, although a good bit of scrambling on rocks/scree the last parts. I would definitely not look to do the hike to the top with children less than maybe 12-14 years old, it's pretty tough. The road was lots of fun with great views both up and down. Would like to go back and check out the museum (which was closed due to COVID).

We loved this! There are many reviews that say it is scary to drive but we took it slow and at times let faster drivers go by us but it was not that hard and it was gorgeous!!! It was a bit crowded at the top so we keep our masks on because social distancing wasn't always possible. It is not cheap - it was 65 for our car with four passengers. The shops at the top are closed due to Covid but there was still plenty of great photo opportunities

This was my first trip up the mountain! I went with my dad who had previously gone up by train. Our guided tour driver Hans was very informative and had a ton of knowledge! It was very windy at the summit but the view was incredible! Will definitely go again but next time, I'm taking the train for a different experience!

Unfortunately, this was foggy day, we could not see much outside of our nose. In addition it started to rain when we were on a top. Well, we could not predict that. I am not disappointed of the weather. However, I am disappointed of the people who are trying to get to top. The 75% of them do not know how to drive in that terrain, in that condition. The rangers at the entrance advice people about a proper dress/shoes and driving habits, but only a few listen to theirs advices. Spend a “five minutes” to read a pamphlet, prepare yourself and watch out for those careless and dangerous drivers. And try to have some sensible fun.

Wow ! We started our climb to the summit on the Jewel trail July 24th at the trail head just south of the Cog Railway . The hike was not an easy climb since we are not Hikers just something I wanted to do and on my Bucket list . Much more difficult than I had expected / after all I spoke with Dozens of hikers who said it was one of the longer hikes to the summit 5 1/2 miles . But also less steep than other routes . It was plenty steep all of those 5 1/2 miles . It took us 7:45hours and 45 min to summit this Rock pile . It was a dream to climb and it lived up to the sites and difficulty. I took some pics on the way up when we took multible breaks / we did take the Cog Railway down the mountain as we were shot from the climb . Do your home work and make sure you are in good shape for this climb ! If you need to be rescued the cost is approx 28K per person ! Non negotiable. This is to keep people from dying on this mountain where the base can be 85* and the Summit 40 / with weather systems that come and go at a very quick rate . This is the highest Mountain in the US this side of the Mississsippi ! Be safe and if you do do this climb you will remember it for a life time . ✅
