The family has been vacationing in the wildwood for 10 yrs, this was the first time on the Thundercats. It will now be added to our yearly tradition list if activities. Was Definitely one of the best family activities we have done

We had a fabulous time on the Thundercat with Captain John and Captain John. Saw lots of dolphin and learned a lot. It was very informative. Would definitely do this again!

The dolphins were swimming right beside the boat. They were jumping and splashing and chasing us. The Thunder Cat dolphin boat takes off the coast of Wildwood NJ and gets you up close to the dolphins.

Another fantastic trip! Going on the Thundercat has become one of our traditions when visiting Cape May and it never disappoints. We always see a bunch of dolphins - and not just fins in the water. I'm talking dolphins jumping out of the water behind the boat! Best dolphin experience in the area.

Awesome experience! It came highly recommended from a friend and did not disappoint. We took our 7 and 9 year olds and they had a blast! The captains were great and we saw a ton of dolphins! They told some fun Wildwood history facts on the trip as well. Well worth it!

We live in Cape May County and it was our first time going on this boat. Great day all around! John and Al were exceptional, saw so many dolphins and easy transaction. Highly recommend to all! Ty!

This was a great boat ride - especially for kids. The captain/crew were great. We learned a little bit of history and saw some sights - including the dolphins jumping in and out of the water. I would highly recommend this ride!!

I have been on Thunder Cat three times this summer and I have not been disappointed in the least. Actually, it is one of the most fun activities available in New Jersey! Each time there were dolphins leaping out of the waves created by the wake of the boat. It is of their own volition, and they look so joyful jumping and playing that the humans cannot help but smile and cheer. I highly recommend this ninety-minute experience for all.

No. Please wear a mask if you have concerns. Same as my grand daughter did. Lots of wind!

We just did this last week. Both my husband and 12 year old daughter get motion & sea sickness. They didn’t get sick but it did really upset their stomachs when the boat was still while looking at the dolphins. I would recommend some anti nausea medicine just in case!
Will I still be able to get a good view of dolphins if I’m sitting in the front row and short in height if everyone behind me standing up to watch the dolphins that come from the back? Thanks

Any time of the day is a good time to ride the Thundercat. but
as a wildlife photographer I prefer the morning hours....the lighting is better for me

Hi - is this boat safe to have a 2 year old on it?

Yes it is safe for a 2 yr old. You have the option of changing your seat to an inside seat if you don't want to sit near the water. Please keep in mind it's 1.5 hrs- to a 2 yr old this will seem like a lifetime (I'm a Mom of 3 kids) and honestly- don't do it just for the 2 yr old to experience. They won't appreciate it as much as an older kid, say like 5 and up, would.. And also, know your child and do the considerate thing. An impatient fidgety crying kid won't be fun for anyone and you'll feel like you (and other sightseers) wasted money and a great experience.
Is there a better time of day to go in terms of the number of dolphins you see?

I don’t think so. 99% of the dolphins in New Jersey live off the coast of Cape May. You can see them all day long from the beach. The captains know how to find them. I like the morning because it’s not as hot. This is a great tour!

Every trip honesty is great for dolphins. We see them regardless of time of day. However, our morning trips are most popular with customers.
