We had an amazing experience on snow mobiles for the first time. Our guide was wonderful and the guys at the store were really great as well. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to do a guided or self-guided tour on snow mobile. Very friendly!

Great place to rent snowmobiles from... staff was friendly, all reservations (online and in person) handled efficiently. We were on our way to the trails quickly. Everything was in excellent condition, tons of trails to ride and varying conditions. No problems and spent the entire day exploring the area! My husband and I had a great time, will definitely return in the future!

We booked a guided tour for two hours since my wife had never been on a snowmobile before. The guys at Village Rentals were great to work with; very friendly and helpful getting us fitted for helmets, taking care of the paperwork, and dealing with a snow pant emergency that resulted in us needing to rent a pair unexpectedly. Our guide was excellent and we can't wait to go back and rent machines for a longer excursion!

Last weekend my cousin and I rented two yamahas for the day. The guys at Village Rentals hooked us up with great sleds and walked us through how to use them and tips for a great day. they highlighted a route to take, some fun trails, places to stop for lunch and where we could fuel up. We did 52 miles that day and I cant wait to go again. They recommend not going out on the lakes (voids your insurance) but we went to piseco lake, sacandaga and of course lake pleasant. lots of fun revving those engines! braaaap!

Amazing customer service and overall experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone who is interested in renting snowmobiles in the Adirondacks. Easy access to +650 miles of groomed trails. Rick and his staff do a great job getting you set up with the equipment and can offer assistance and recommendation for trails to ride and destinations. The only reason I would tell someone not to go here is because they could be interfering with a reservation that I want to make for myself :)

Do you need equipment for a job or do you just want to have fun? Being a resident of the area I know this is the place to go. When I needed a trencher to bury my electric cables, no problem. When friends came from the city and wanted to snowmobile this is the place they went. My cousin and his wife rented scooters and took an Adirondack 4 town ride. Said it was one of the best times they ever had, "Couldn't stop grinning and laughing." A helpful, down to business staff. They have top quality equipment and gear for sale too.

We rented snowmobiles from here for the first time. We had an Excellent experience. All the staff are very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Rick was very helpful in explaining the trails. The Adirondacks are beautiful and snowmobiling is a great way to enjoy the scenery. We will be making this a yearly expedition for our family!! Definitely recommend making the trip!!

This was our first time snowmobiling and we had a great time. The Village Rentals staff was very friendly and helpful; the sled we rented was great. There are tons of trails in and around Speculator to explore.

My wife and I rented a 2-person snowmobile for our first sledding adventure and were not dissapointed! The main trails go right through the lot and there is plenty of parking. Rick and his staff were extremely friendly and and helpful. Awesome time!

I have been there. It was cool! If you're not looking for it closely, it's easy to miss.
Go down the road past Charlie John's (toward Oak Mtn). There is a dirt road on your right- take that. You have to go a ways (maybe a mile or 2?)before you get to the cave. It's going to be on your left. It's been a while and I wasn't driving but that is the approximate area. The road comes out on Rt 30 so you could also go from there (may be your 1st left off of Rt 30. Again it is going to be a mile or 2 in on your right.
