It was a ripper day for winter and thought let’s do some exercise and wander around Point Peron . Our friend from Victoria hadn’t been there either and it has a few walking paths and views of the ocean and natural cliffs. Plenty of parking , few lookouts and take your bathers if it’s warm. There was a few blue bottles on the beach washed up . Needs some ablutions located near the car park thoe.

Great walk for a walk or to take in the views on a clear day. There is a platform to walk out on which extends beyond the cliff edge so you can better see the surroundings. Worth the trip if you are in the area.

Can’t really fault this place and little hike . It’s free , there’s different types of hikes from beach to rock and to pathways. Can get some cool photos . Watch out for small blue bottle jelly fish along the beach atm . Beautiful of a nice day .

Hey all
Did a solo walk along the beaches at safety bay to point peron last week
A beautiful day a walk along our magnificent beaches bathed in sunshine and finally ended up at point peron
An amazing place with lovely little secluded beaches tailor made for swimming or snorkeling
Lots of walk trails on the island either along the beach or through the bush
Either way it was very impressive walk with so many picturesque sites to see along the way
I highly recommend it , plenty to see and do

Nice spot to park and walk the trails, a lot bigger than it looks. Great views over the bay and along the coast. It’s a shame people can’t take rubbish home or use the bins ! it’s the only downside, beer cans and bottles, if you can carry it there full surely you can carry it back empty ! Spoils a great nature area, but if you can look past that it’s a fantastic place to walk and just chill out in the peace and quiet with the ocean as a back drop.

Love it here. So glad we were able to visit before our return home. Walk with the Grandchildren and seeing the spectacular sunset.

One of our regular walking areas. Great to walk around the Point and take in the spectacular views. A couple of fabulous beaches, and sprinkles coffee caravan on most mornings (not 100% sure but not there early in the week, but late in the week and weekends) The lookout is great, and good snorkeling. Sometimes a few flies on the sheltered side. Often there are dolphins on the marine park side of the point.

We stumbled on the point by accident driving around. It is a lovely scenic place with walks and lookouts dotted around. I scaled the steps on our way in and that was a hell of a workout. You can see Garden Island and Rockingham from the top.

No, the path was not very smooth and the rocks are jagged when you get to the beach area.
