When a cellar door says open till 5pm and you turn up at 4.40, you would think you would have 20 minutes left. Apparently not. Was told closed for the day. Disappointing.

Highly recommend Tertini Winery when visiting the Southern Highlands they have nailed the wine tasting experience. We returned with a group of six friends having visited them in January this year. We were greeted warmly into the tasting room by Craig shown our huge table which was laid out with glasses, complimentary cheeseboard, wine lists, pens etc. The wood fire made the room cosy and inviting and the staff were friendly and very organised. I noticed a couple came in shortly after us without a booking but were warmly greeted and as there was an empty table invited in with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Our tasting experience was excellent lots of information on origins of their wines and all our questions were answered with knowledgeable responses. It’s definitely a must visit winery. Five stars.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Tertini on Christmas Eve.
Rowan did our tasting, he was very knowledgeable and really enjoyed telling us about the wines and the history of the family and the winery.
We will definitely be visiting again!

Superb wine-tasting experience, and even more importantly, SUPERB wines. Visited after having visited another highly touted very large vineyard in the region. The Tertini wines far far outshone the bigger competitor. Great tasting experience, with complementary cheese plate (highly unusual), lots of enthusiastic information and no pressure. Started with their Prosecco, a real winner. Sorry there were out of Arneis (smoke damage due to the 2019-20 bushfires), as it's a wine we love. But instead we especially loved the 2019 Pinot Gris 2019 Pinot Blanc (rare in Australia) and even more so the 2018 Riesling (had to buy a half dozen). Also tried their true cool-climate reds, and loved especially the 2017 and 2019 Pinot Noir (had to buy another half dozen). Ended with a quick taste of their Tertini Noble dessert wine - wow, loads of honey-drenched passion fruit. Most highly recommended!

Tertini cellar door is a must when visiting the Southern highlands. Not only were all of the wines- particularly the pinot noir, superb, but the complimentary cheese platter featuring fantastic homemade jam and a chutney were much appreciated! Sandy was a lovely host full of knowledge not just on the wines but also the region. Her company was thoroughly enjoyable and made for an extremley pleasureable experince!
We were very happy with our purchases and enjoyed them later by the fire.

We were early for our booking and that was no problem, they put us in the barrell room until our table inside was free. We finished a day of wine tasting at Tertini, and it was our favourite winery by far. The staff were our kind of people, they engaged at the right level, let us sample some delicious wines, didn't rush us, gave us some cheese to munch on.

We felt very welcome even though the tasting room was quite busy and had a very personalised experience with Nicole looking after us so well. Nice wines, and we enjoyed the complimentary cheese platter as well.

Having just 1 staff member on to serve 4 groups of guests made the experience more difficult. Tertini offers a range of interesting varietals with the bigger reds leading in quality but unfortunately the wine and service did not quite deliver.
