This is nice, but there is not that much here to do. Wish there was more given how large the property is. What is available in terms of food and shops, are very nice and worth a visit. But does not take very long.

Cute little shopping area. It's not what I expected. I thought there would be a more historical factor to the area. It was mostly high end shops. The Olde World Christmas Shoppe was lovely for nice ornaments and MTN AVL was nice shop for magnets and treats.

Biltmore Village was nice but not what I expected. Not as many shops as I thought it would have but it was cute. Problem was everything (including restaurants) shut down at 5pm!

A nice shopping and restaurant area. Parking can be a challenge but it is do-able. A nice change from the mall.

Great little shops to walk around and see after having a nice meal or waiting to have a nice meal at one of the resurants.

This is not part of the Biltmore estate but is located adjacent. It is a shopping area with a few restaurants as well. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but there is an underground parking area. We enjoyed walking around the quaint shops, including Origami Ink and the Christmas shop.

We went here after touring the Biltmore estate , it was a nice area but super crowded on a Thursday so would hate to see what a weekend would be like. There are stores and restaurants that are kind of hard to see until you passed them and Turing around was terrible because of traffic. Public parking areas were not clearly marked. The buildings and atmosphere were very nice though, and we did find a restaurant but waited a long time to eat. Worth a trip once at least.

We were staying at a hotel near by, so we went over to visit. Great shops and restaurants. Lots of things to look at.

At one point it was the area where workers at Biltmore lived to be close to their jobs. Today I doubt those same people could afford to shop there. It’s simply a high end shopping mall with similar high end restaurants for the most part. Think Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, etc. The shops in downtown Asheville have more charm and character.

The Biltmore Village is a wonderful small village located in Asheville, North Carolina.
When vacationing in Asheville, North Carolina, I brought my wife and myself for a visit to the Biltmore Village and we very much enjoyed our experience there.
The history of the village begins with George Vanderbilt, a member of the prominent Vanderbilt Family.
George Vanderbilt built the Biltmore Village and had it serve as a company town for the workers that he hired to construct his home, the Biltmore Estate.
The village was said to have its own school, hospital and a train station.
Today, the Biltmore Village operates as a commercial district and features an extensive collection of shops and restaurants. When visiting the village, my wife and I visited a wide variety of shops and purchased a few merchandise. We were both impressed by the exterior and interior decor of these shops and the eclectic collection of items that were marketed and up for sale.
If you like shopping and admire uniquely crafted products, then you should definitely take the time to visit the Biltmore Village!!!

I’m making a reservation to Ruth’s Chris on Thanksgiving Day, it is listed as Biltmore Village. Is it in the estates property? Do I have to pay a parking fee?

IS the Biltmore estate open this year first week of January 2021? (Or )maybe Dec. 30/31
Same question for the Biltmore village restaurants and shopping due to Covid - didn't know if they were open or not.

They follow North Carolina phase 2 reopening schedule with limited capacity, hours and admission. Best to keep up to date on the newest development on line or call 800-411-3812.

Due to covid 19 The Biltmore estate will not be open when we plan to be there. Does anyone know if there is ANY vantage point in which to view the estate for a photo? Is there any entrance available or limited access to drive around the grounds? The website does not address this question specifically.

If the main gate is closed or blocked there is no way to drive closer to the Chateau for photos...its quite a ways into the middle of the Estate. If they have closed the hotel and shops as well, you will also not be able to drive into or around the huge estate. You cannot just walk/hike in.
They are very strict about who can go into the Estate even in a normal year...you need a specific date and tickets to do so. However, I had a lot of questions before we went last Thanksgiving...and I e-mailed off of the website link and did get specific answers. You could try that to verify that they are not allowing drive-throughs.

$79.95 for all of the estate at your leisure ,shuttle throughout included. Wine tasting Yes I got a $10.00 senior discount.

Is there parking underneath the shops?

Yes there is parking underneath one whole row of buildings in the village. There are buildings without under parking but parking on the street but it is hard to get - have to catch someone leaving. Park once and walk around if you like to walk or are able to do that.
Are the shops in biltmore village dog friendly?

Dogs are allowed on the Biltmore Village grounds, as far as being allowed in establishments/stores, that is left up to the individual owners. The Village is usually pretty crowded, so for dogs that typically don't do well with crowds and congestion, it may not be the place. Leashes are required.

I am so very sorry that I just found this. I hope you found The Corner Kitchen for your brunch. There are numerous other
restaurants in the Village that have just as delicious food.
You will also find a casual lunch or fine dining at the Red Stag located inside the Grand Bohemian.
