The Elms Mansion is a beautiful old building in Saint Charles street. The Street car runs right past it. Really nice and worth a look.

We went on a private tour of the Elms Mansion with the owner. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Elms and spent time there growing up. It was beautiful inside and I could only imagine how lovely an event would be there.

An amazing historic building in the Garden District. The amenities and decorations inside are true to the period. This is an event venue and from my experience, they know how to do it well. The staff were warm and welcoming and everything went off without a hitch.

Tour includes Entrance Hall & Staircase that features hand carved ebony stained Flemish oak, stunning chandeliers, dining room, Louis XVI room, and ball room with imported linen tapestry wall coverings that tell an Irish love story. Good place for customized events and guided tours for larger groups. Owner on property adds to authentic experience if she is available. (Faith Roche).

Went here with about 70 business associates for a reception and dinner on a rainy day in February, 2018. The venue is very interesting with interesting period furniture and fixtures. The grounds appeared very interesting although I only quickly looked at them due to the weather.
The meal was served upstairs. The tables were too tightly packed and each had too many chairs. My biggest complaint of the evening is due to the logistic and comfort challenges caused by the over seating. The food was quite good - the highlight being the crawfish soup at the start. Main dish of steak and crab cakes was excellent.

Wow! Just wow! We recently attended a wedding at the Elms Mansion and I was blown away by the beauty of the mansion, the grounds, the presentation and the service of the staff.
I don't think I've ever been in a more beautiful venue for a wedding (or anything else). Situated in the Garden District right off St. Charles St., we enjoyed sitting in the open air mingling with other guests, served all sorts of tasty hors d'oeuvres, as we watched trolleys go past. A truly unique experience.

Went there for a wedding last week - this place is awesome. Beautiful rooms, excellent food and atmosphere. The staff was awesome. This place also has a great history, including it was once owned by a Nazi spy.

I attended an event here and it was great. The location is nice, the grounds are kept well and the mansion is amazing. I had the chance to meet the granddaughter of the original owner and she is very pleasant and helpful. All the staff and bar tenders are top notch and very professional.

On a cruise with Azamara, we were brought here one evening for "An Amazing Azarama evening" We were able to tour the historic mansion and enjoy a jazz band and entertainers in the garden. Memorable.

I attended a wedding here and the experience was top notch from beginning to end. This is a lovely mansion on St. Charles Avenue and I just love the idea of being able to hear the rumbling of the streetcar during any event you have here. I think that it adds a nice New Orleans touch to the festivities.
The wedding and reception were both in the Elms Garden, which was beautifully decorated. The wedding itself was lovely with the bride and groom exchanging vows under a gazebo. Chairs were arranged nicely, so that the guests didn't feel piled on top of each other and after the ceremony ended, the bar was open and the garden was transformed into a lovely reception area. As if by magic, the chairs were whisked away and replaced by multiple tables. I was impressed that the food was setup and ready to go immediately after the ceremony, and there was no wait.
Speaking of the food, it was all amazing. We enjoyed turkey and stuffing with gravy, assorted cheeses, grape leaves, brussel sprouts, salmon and passed food such as crab, frogs legs, meat pies, pâté, escargot, sausage and much more. The food seemed to never stop and it was all excellent. I also liked that when the cake was cut, they passed around cake to all the guests so that we didn't have to worry about going and looking for it. They also had other desserts such as cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries. Yum!
I loved the lighting on the dance floor area and there was a lot of space so that people could move around and have a good time. The staff was fantastic at clearing plates and glasses as soon as we were finished and keeping everything neat.
I had a fantastic time at the wedding and Elms Mansion was a wonderful venue for it, especially on a mild Autumn night
