The play was well done.

I needed to know more about Barbara Streisand to get the humorous references.

But it was very entertaining.

The matinee was nice and we had an early dinner at Ralph’s on the park after!

What a lucky coincidence to pass this little theatre wandering around the French Quarter. Box office however never open so you must book online. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof opened on our last night of holidays ..... just brilliant .... hearing it in vernacular ...wow

If all of the productions are of the quality of the the musical "The Color Purple" that we saw, then I would say that you must check this gem out. The talent on the company didn't have to take a back seat to other productions that we have seen on Broadway. The bonus is that I don't imagine that there would be a bad seat in the house as I am estimating that the theater has a capacity of around 400. There are many choices of entertainment in NOLA but this one should not be overlooked.

Tonight was a very enjoyable entertaining and fun show with Ms. Skinner singing and acting a selection if Broadway show music.

We need to come to more shows here than we seem to be able to get down to New Orleans

Another very good performance even though the story was a little weird to follow.

We come to a show here every few months and each one is well done, the theatre intimate, and comfortable.

This storyline was at times troubling and others up-lifting.

The theatre is very convenient to find in the French Quarter just off Jackson Square.

Last night we also had dinner at Tableau (less than 100' away, basically in the same building) before the show. And, that made the evening even more enjoyable. I'm about to enter a very positive review of Tableau also.

The picture attached is of the stage before the show, and unfortunately a little dark.

This 100+ year old theatre group seems as young as ever! I saw many shows here when I lived in NO from 1969-1999 and felt privileged to get tickets to see a performance of A Christmas Carol the Sunday before Christmas 2019. The acting and special effects were great. We sat in the balcony and had a good view of everything. The only drawback was the narrow space between my knees and feet and the back of the seats in front of me.If you go in the future, ask about leg room on the first floor. The people running the phone box office were so helpful with all my questions, but leg room was not something I questioned before hand. In spite of the lack of leg room, it was a wonderful experience and it will not stop me from going again.

Since we came for the Satchmo -one man show in October, we have been back twice. We saw "A Christmas Carol" the weekend before Christmas and "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" - a musical this past weekend. If we were smarter we woiuld have bought season tickets.

Both shows were very well done and we enjoy coming here. The singing and live music this past weekend were very enjoyable.

After the Christmas show we walked next door for dinner at Tableau that was also very good. This time we walked up Royal for dinner at Brennan's that was excellent.

We continue to recommend seats on the main floor downstairs for best viewing.

It is very easy to get to, right off the Northwest corner of Jackson Square.

Went to se a production of the Christmas Carol. Venue is much larger than you might expect for the Quarter. Production was very nicely done. They set up a small bar just off the entry but can also go to the full bar in Tableau to get a cocktail to take into the theater.

We had heard this one-man show (with three characters) was very good and had not been downtown /French quarter for several months.

Barry Henley did a fantastic job playing all three characters and switching between them. The show was about 90 to 100 minutes, non-stop.

We have been here several times and continue to recommnend seats on the main level and not the balcony.

The theatre season this year looks like it has many good shows coming up. Next in line is "A Christmas Carol", then what appears to be a little bit of a dramatic comedy "A Gentleman's guide to Love & Murder", then a Tennessee Williams play - "Baby Doll", and lastly "The Pianist".

If you are in town and looking for a good entertainment option, this is a good choice. Shows are typically Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights and an afternoon matinee on Sundays.

It is adjoining the Tableau restaurant that we hear is a good eating option, and they have a small bar outside the theatre to get a cocktail or other drink.
