I enjoyed the walk. The wall art was beautiful. However, I do recommend going early morning or evening, it was extremely hot during the day.

We went to the Beltline for a bike ride on Sunday 3/27/22. We entered the beltline at Ponce City Market. We are from St. Louis and have rode and walked on several similar pedestrian multiuse trails.

What stood out the most about the beltway was the complete lack of any signage, or adherence to, instructions ensuring that all those who use the beltline make it safe and comfortable for others. On other such pedestrian trails we generally see signs with guidance requiring dogs be kept on close/short leashes, staying to the right, sharing the space with bicyclist and other such requirements. On the Atlanta Beltline there are no such signs and people are generally discourteous. Worst of all, many people make the beltline a hazardous place to go and a completely unpleasant experience. The few police we saw in the many miles we were on the beltline did nothing to help make the beltline any safer or more comfortable.

It was a gorgeous spring day and we understood there would be lots of people. We didn't anticipate a complete absence of courtesy or safety. It is possible to make the beltline a place someone can ride a bike without non-stop fear of being injured or injuring someone else. However, it seems Atlanta and it citizens have chosen the opposite.

In this reviewers mind, allowing the chaos that permeates the entire beltway to go on is irresponsible and a terrible waste. What a shame!

This is one of the growing wonders of Atlanta. Atlanta has always gotten criticized for traffic, urban sprawl, lack of walkability, lack of public transportation, etc. All of these criticisms are warranted, but to me the Beltline is one of the signs that things are changing for the better.

It's honestly beautiful and inspiring to live in a place that is developing in such a way, and hopefully moving on to be a more cohesive, active, accessible, and diverse city.

There are always things popping up and changing on the Beltline, and it's great to be able to walk from Piedmont Park to Old Fourth Ward Park, and end at Ponce City Market while strolling past historical landmarks, new public facilities and restaurants, and revitalized buildings. On a warm day (and even on cold ones), it instantly brightens my outlook seeing people out and about; running, jogging, walking, biking, rollerblading, skating.

The art installations are fun to look at and admire also.

The best part is the rentable scooters - they are so much fun!

I used to live in the suburbs of Atlanta and was in town to visit a friend. We had lunch and then walked the beltway. It was a beautiful March day. There were so many people walking, riding, roller blading. We loved the experience and enjoyed all the street art. I was so impressed how this area has grown and improved.

So much art to see. I love it because people can express their feelings through ART. Only thing is you have to enjoy it in the moment because it's always changing.

what was once a railroad corridor is now a a trail for walkers, cyclists and more, that links parks and neighborhoods together. A variety of public art can be found along the way. It's necessary for walkers to stay alert, between the cyclists, skaters and scooters. A great way to enjoy Atlanta and get some exercise.

On a sunny mild February Saturday, we headed to the beltline for fresh air and some exercise ... And so did thousands of other people! It was so good to see so many people enjoying the great outdoors in an urban oasis. The crowds were challenging at times, but everyone was considerate, even the scooter drivers. We stopped at Krog City Market for a snack, and there are many other restaurants along the beltway. Helpful hint: If you don't live on the Beltline, there is a great public parking deck at Ponce City Market, adjacent to the Beltline.

It is a wonderful walk by which people can experience the beauty of the area. BUT. There are too many bicyclists, scooters, and skaters going way TOO FAST. Visitors must be aware because they come too close and go way too fast. It scares elderly people, people absorbed in discussions, and dogs.

The Beltline can be crowded but it’s still worth the effort! Running long lengths of the city this former railroad allows a great walking path through so many great parts of the city. Park at Ponce Market, grab a coffee, exit to the back & walk the Beltline & then go back to Ponce to eat & shop!

Tip: Kids are tough to manage on the trail due to how many bikes, scooters & skateboards are flying by so plan accordingly!
