Incredible view on the farm.
The road to there is beautiful, lush vegetation.
Incredible to see how they proceed with the preparation of the coffee beans.
The coffee is excellent!! Needless to say I guess...
And do try the banana -macadam nut bread!!

Bay View Farm Coffee is the perfect place to stop and try/buy great coffee with the spirit of aloha emanating from the entire experience. I came back again at the end of my stay to buy more of their coffee (dark and medium) and other authentic Hawaiian souvenirs. I highly recommend you take the drive down Painted Church Road to enjoy/buy the coffee at Bay View, maybe some bread, pet the dog, buy souvenirs, enjoy the view, and maybe add a stop at the Botanical Garden and Painted Church all on the same road!

We did a quick tour which was interesting. At the end they let you taste the coffee and it was good. There's a store to buy it and other products. The view is beautiful

Here you can try 100% Kona coffee with a good view on a bay, buy coffee beans, home made souses and souvenirs as well. Also you can see how cacao beans are growing and drying. There are mango trees and pineapples plants as well.

This was a great learning experience. From tasting to the complete tour from coffee plants to processing and roasting was fascinating. And the people couldn’t be nicer. Highly recommend.

We stopped at Bay View Farm as a stop on our Wasabi tour. This is a fully operational kona coffee farm. From the plants, to the drying process, you can see it all. They provide a sample of coffee and an opportunity to buy coffee while you are there. Yes, they will grind the coffee for you to the type of brewer you have. Mahalo

Stopped here as part of a circle tour. As with all of the other stops, the time here was very limited. A brief introduction by our own guide (not by the owners) and a quick walk through the front groves.
Got a taste of their coffee though. I am not a coffee drinker and have never really developed a taste for it. This changed my mind and I bought several bags. My understanding is the blends are not what you want as they have beans that wouldn't be used in good coffee. You want 100% Kona coffee and I've been told it is impossible to get on the mainland and expensive to ship.

Visited for the second tine September7,2022. I returned because of thw hospitality and oh so good coffee. This is a lovely place to slow down and learn more about the Kona coffees, enjoy the great views and relax after visiting the Sanctuary and Painted Church. Take all the time you wish, sample again and shop the well-stocked, local product gift shop. The prices are comparable to others and the location unbeatable.

This was a beautiful farm! We loved being able to walk around the grounds and learn about the coffee roasting process. The coffee was amazing and the staff was so friendly. Also, Honey (their small, fury mascot) made this stop even more fun.

Our last day we chose to explore prior to our flight, this was a great stop to sample some coffee while overlooking the beautiful bay. Great little gift shop too!

They say sometime the first of the year they should be opening. I noticed they are rebuilding the kiosk now and it looks good! They were working on the deck surrounding the kiosk and have planted new coffee all through the farm. Everyone there was excited about having people back. I am heading back in February and will check it out.

When did Bay View Farm close? I always stopped at Bay View. Over the years I've made 6 trips to Hawaii. I would like to make another trip. I would miss not seeing the mill.

It was a combination of drought and the appearance of a boring beetle that hit the coffee farms very hard. My wife and I visited Bayview and others many times over the years and always made our "take home" purchases from Bayview.
The boring beetle appeared when one producer broke an unwritten rule and imported beans from another country.
