The trek out to the Waterfall was awesome and it completely bowled me over. A lot of photos were taken and the sense of the natural world was strong. We saw flying foxes in abundance which was a rare treat.

We’ve been coming here for years, it’s our favourite place to visit but on this trip the waterfall was completely dry. Not sure why this is so but we’re extremely sad 😞

A 3km walk from the road to the edge of the track. Mostly flat. The trek through the Bush to the Cliffside is amazing. Saw a coconut crab along the way. Supervise kids closely and keep kids away from edge of cliff

We walked from the Ma tree to the waterfall whose name I forget. It was about 3.2km with a marked and slightly formed track. Plenty of wildlife to see and hear. Best to make sure you do it during the day with good sunlight as the track in places is hard to discern unless you can see the re ribbons tied to the trees that indicate the track.

We went here with a group of 15 Australians. The road in was OK, but would be slippery in the wet season. It was well signposted. Entry was free. The waterfalls were accessed by a short walk, some of it was down narrow stairs so might not be safe for older or frail people. The water was clean and it was a really beautiful place for a swim. The top water hole was accessible by a few steps and was shallow so suitable for small children. It would have been fun to jump in from one water fall to the other, but the 2nd fall had no easy access and wasn't deep enough to allow for jumping from the top one into it, then into the bottom one. That must depend on how much rain there has been. The way to the picnic fales/change rooms was fairly flat . The toilets were dirty and the ladies toilet didn't flush. There was no toilet paper so someone had used tree leaves and then put them in the toilet bowl, thus making it unusable. Perhaps a small entry fee would help make people appreciate the facilities and allow for more toilets or cleaning of toilets? Perhaps signs asking people not to put anything but toilet paper in the toilets would help?

Take bathers, a towel and some wet shoes for walking the riverbed. The fresh water waterfall is a beautiful and relaxing swim.

Went early on a Sunday so road to coastal walk was closed to cars but can walk down it. Parked over at the Ma tree stop. Saw lots of butterflies and was glad it was overcast and windy as otherwise hot and no shade. The coastal walk was great and as the wind was from the SW got a lot seaspray and waves and being early no one else. Wear walking shoes. Went back to see the Ma tree which was a walk through forest, cool and shaded. Could be slippery after rain and good shoes. Impressive tree. A good full mornings walking for these 2 sites.

It was a lovely break to visit the waterfall in the National Park on the way to our fale. No payment required and it was easy to find and beautifully maintained and cared for. Lots of local visitors which was great.

This walk is excellent, and easily accessible from the main road. it is just across from the locked gate to the Coastal Walk to the Sea, Nearby (short drive) is the Togitogiga Waterfall - also worth a look

Nice national park with few things to do. I hired a guide from Samoa on Foot (tel. 7594199) to be able to reach the park and see few things. The guide was ok (he was more a driver who gives explanation than a real guide). We walked along the coast which was probably the best part of the day. The waves and the cliffs were amazing. Than we went to the cascade which was nice, but not a place to stay for a day. In the afternoon, I just walk in the road up the hill the have a nice view of the coastal line. In short, a nice day the espace the beach!
