I’m travelling northbound is it easy to get to this hotel if traveling to Scotland from the south
May I also add that access back to the Northbound Carriageway is just as easy to find. There is no need to go back onto the motorway. All you need to do is follow the directions in reverse. It is about a 5 minute journey back to Northbound.

Thank you for your question. Yes, we are easy to access from the Northbound carriageway. Directions are as follows:
Between junction 41 and 42 is Southwaite Services (Moto). Leave the M6 at the services keeping in the left hand lane. After 150 yards there is a left turning which has a red No Entry Sign. Take this left turn as it is a service road and you are allowed to use it. At the end of the road you turn left at the T junction. After approx 400 yards there is another left turning before a sign for 'The Globe Inn'. Follow this round down a hill and under the M6. Immediately after the bridge you will see a turning on your left . Take this left turn and follow the service road to the end. At the end of the road drive across into the car park and you will see us towards the back right of the car park next to the services.
Providing you have added your e-mail address to your booking then you will receive a pre-arrival e-mail which states all the directions onto it.
If we can be of any further assistance then please do not hesitate to phone the hotel. We will be happy to help.

Yes very easy off the motorway and travel all the way round enjoy x
TBH we accessed the hotel via the southbound carriageway as we were staying there overnight for an early job in Penrith so I'm unsure how easy it is to access northbound. One tip though, ask for a room to the front as the main services access road is immediately behind the hotel and there is considerable early morning lorry movement and related noise.
Yes, easy to find. There is a turning to the left (with a no-entry sign for general users but a separate sign to Travelodge), then follow three further left turns that take you under the motorway and onto the south-bound service station.
To continue north, you don't need to go south and then north again - you simply retrace your steps to get back to the north-bound service station and back onto the motorway.
Yes, turn off at the north bound Southwaite service station. There is an access road at the back of station, turn left, travel 200 yards, turn left again to go under the motorway. Go another 200 yards, turn left again onto the Southwaite access road. Phone TL for directions. Very helpful reception staff and they give you return instructions to rejoin motorway.
Easy to find, but bear in mind when you leave you will have to travel south to the next junction before you can travel north again.
Personally found this far from value for money and would most definitely never use again.
That is what we did. If you have Google Maps or Sat Nav, then this will help you find the Lodge as it is a little off the motorway. Initially, I thought I had taken a wrong turning but there were several Travelodge signs to follow, so not too difficult. Once there, definitely a good choice for breaking up the journey up yo Scotland and well worth the money. Hope this helps.
