We had the misfortune of staying at this villa in Feb. of this year we booked through a Villa in Spain. Please find below the subsequent letter sent to A Villa in Spain...Their Response WE DONT CARE!
We have returned from a 'holiday' booked with you - El Pinaret in Spain for the period 10/02/10 to 17/02/10.
We arrived at the villa in the early hours of the 11 Feb after a long drive with 2 young children from Central France. When we entetred the property we were instantly hit by the overwhelming damp musty smell, our 2 daughters instantly burst into tears and didn't want to stay in the "horrible house". The villa was booked for 2 adults = 1 room made as a double and 2 singles for children age 4 & 5, for some reason you decided to make 2 singles in one room and 2 other singles in seperate rooms on seperate floors! I would not consider the bedding of an acceptable standard 1 thin cotton sheet on each bed 3 mouldy quilts (see attached pictures) with no covers and one 1970's fringed sheet! When I searched for extra blankets these were in the wardrobes which also smelt every bit as bad as the rest of the house which of course meant all the blankets were unbearable. Luckily we had some bedding to use in the car, had we had an alternative we would have left the house there and then. It was not possible for anyone to get any sleep with the ice cold bad atmosphere, I have asthma and by the next day was already visibly suffering, and all other fanmily members were coughing.
The following day we could only leave the villa to go to the supermarkets for supplies and scented candles, thinking that we could heat air and freshen the house. After 2 nights of no sleep and worsening chest complaints we had no choice but to leave the villa and head home on the morning of 13 Feb. We would never have remained that long had we had an alternative!
Along with the cost of the villa and fuel down we also had to dispose of the weeks shopping (There are a couple of items left in the freezer maybe if you actually look in there you will see the mould it contains!!! have you ever cleaned ontop of the fridge???) In the kitchen every cupboard and item smells as bad as the next, there was a nasty film of stickiness on everything. Damp patches are now visible in the first floor bedroom (one without air con) first floor landing area and lounge area. Heater in first floor bathroom is unusable fire hazzard with paint cracking off the ceiling above!
You mention often in your details how much you will charge if we do not fulfill ourside nowhere have I seen what you do when you fail your clients - I hold Villa Spain completely responsible the owners had obvioulsy left a well equipped villa of a decent standard these problems are all down to the service you provide
I look foward to hearing your response in this matter.

We arrived at the aparments quite late due to flights but the manager, Lillybeth, was dilligently waiting for our arrival.
There was a mix up with the booking where we should have stayed in a 2 room apartment but got a 1 room apartment but this was caused by the booking agent, not the hotel. We had E-mailed the apartment for a welcome pack and everything we requested was waiting in the apartment. Lillybeth and all the staff were very friendly and very helpful.
The room had the best appointed kitchen we had encounter on holiday and as I travelled with a broken leg, our budget made us eat in on a couple of occasions.
There was a lovely balcony with a table and chairs where you could sit and eat, admiring the view of the pool. The rooms were cleaned with fresh bedding and towels three times a week.
There was a pool bar which also did food like most of the surrounding bars. I would describe it as a small, quiet, family hotel with excellent acomadation in one of Ibitha's quieter corners. It maybe too quiet for some but we hired a car to visit livelier places before returning to the peace. The only time we ate there was breakfast, the food was good. The resort was not as cheap as Es Canar but not as expensive as St Eularia, both of which are well worth a night out.
There was little entertainment at the hotel, there was a pool table to keep my teenagers busy and a barbeque on Tuesdays but as there were plenty of families with offspring of similar age this was not a problem.
We are not generally sun worshippers but due to my condition had a fair bit of beach time/pool time whilst I rested my leg.
Our favorite beach was Cala Pada, we even went here for a night out which was brilliant, sipping cocktails on the beach as the sun went down.
We went to Los Dalias another night which is overpriced and over rated.
A boat trip to Formenterra was a brilliant day out but be warned the bus aint free on the other side as we were led to beleive.
A trip to Ibitha town and more specifically the old town of Dalt Vila
is most entertaining.
We also went on the Wally Bus leaving from outside the council offices in the main square of St Eularia which visited a museum and a traditional Ibithincan country bar. The dry sense of humour running through the drivers commentary was one of the highlights of the trip.
Summing up,charming accomadation, lovely resort, would definitely go again and definetly highly reccommend to others.
