What can I say you will not be disappointed staying here! It is easy to reach the bed and breakfast from Bremen’s main railway station. But if coming from the airport take tram 6 to Hauptbanholf (main station) takes about 20 minutes. Take the tram Number 4 or 5 (towards Borgfeld) and get off on Horner Kirche. Walk to the opposite bus stop (which is also called Horner Kirche (- Note at this stop there is a good supermarket called Lestra and across the road there is a bar where you can get food/drink) Anyone from Horner Kiche Take bus no. 20 towards Nedderland and get off at the Achterdiek stop. (only takes 3 or 5 minutes). After you get off the bus, turn right, then cross the circle road and follow the “resin” road until you see the second exit Riemst. (about 3 minutes). (you pass two small bridges and then it’s the next street) The place is at the end of the street number 60. I booked via booking.com but it may be cheaper to book via the owner Ira herself. www.gaestehaus-hermann.de I paid 110 euros for 2 people for 2 nights and then 20 euros for breakfast for 2 nights. The rooms are lovely and spacious and Ira the owners does everything to make you welcome. On the first day we arrived she came up to our room with two complimentary cups of tea, gave us bus timetables, helped us with directions, showed us around and even give me an umbrella when we were going into the city!! (it takes about 20/25 minutes to get into city) There is two bathrooms between 4 rooms. One upstairs which has a massive shower and one downstairs which has a smaller shower. I found this to be ample. Ira was happy to make pretty much what we wanted. We asked for a cooked breakfast and got some cooked meat and eggs. I saw other people got bolied eggs, cheese and bread etc. There was also cereals. Ira also made her own home made yoghurt – from what I could gather from her English! Ira seems to understand most things. There is a garden out the back which has an exercise bike you can use, ping ball I believe and also table football. Upstairs in the communal area there is books to read and comfortable chairs. I also sampled ira Hot stone massage – yes she will even do a massage. Pity about cost though which I thought was a bit expensive. 60 euros for full body and 30 euros for back massage!! The only area for improvement I would say is to have free tea facilities in the room and free wireless internet access. Ira already has wireless internet so I cant see there being much problem.
