My family and I spent Canada day weekend at this campground and was very disappointed. The facilities were either overgrown or rundown, like The trees overgrown a very rundown mini golf course, even the bathrooms were falling apart. About 7-10 years ago we loved going here, it was clean and full of adventure with paddle boats, but no more. We would not recommend to anybody.
I heard this is not a good place for camping because of a problems that never given attention by the owner, WE PAY THE SEASONAL on June 20 , so we have only 3 months here, few friends from the valley visited us because we live in Bridgewater, We do not know we;ve been watching by the owner, he said my visitors did not pay the entrance fee, i told them they were, as per records, Gary the owner counter my visitors , but log book shows not 7, so i called them and i was told they pay but employee did not get their name,, Gary told me that I have a white man in our vehicle everytime my hiusband and come every week end, I said that my husband disabled veterans my husand is a caregiver, he told me i have to register him every time he come, i told him he is on my list of names, but he said if he is not living with us 100 percent he has to register, ok fine $2,00 to have a good relationship to the owner. But when I asked about my ste[children he said I have to bring a court papers to show they are living with us, i said i will not give you our personal documents just to save $4.00. Gary said I know they are not living with you because I google your place and your house is too small, i SAID TOO SMALL OR NOT STILL MY STEPCHILDREN ARE MY FAMILY.I was disappointed, I said I came here to relax to get a stress.. I LEFT AND PLAN TO MOVE SOMEWHERE THAT WILL NOT GOOGLE MY PLACE AND HARASS MY VISITORS., PLANTATION CAMPGROUND CLOSED TO THIS PLACE WHEN I CALLED STEPCHILDREN ARE INCLUDED AS FAMILY AND YOGI BEAR MINIMUM OF 4 CHILDREN.…
We stayed here with with our kids (2&4) and with another family with 2 small kids. Lots for them to do with the play ground and pool plus daily wagon rides and other activities. The bathrooms are clean but dated however it was the first one I've been in that had a change table, basinette and baby tub even a step stool for kids to wash hands easier. The Aylesford Zoo is right around the corner, lots of local u-pick apple orchards in the fall
