The property is located in Lekki Phase 1. I got a room upgrade on arrival and customer service is impressive. The room is neatly kept;including the bathroom. It’s a good value for money paid and I will definitely recommend to friends.

The last time I stayed here was in October 2018, then it was an alright affordable place that is well located. However, now things are way worse. CONS: All the ROOMS had a smell like the sewage was full, you know the kind that slowly overwhelms the room. Then, the BEDDINGS are far from white and the bed gave me a bad back in the morning cause the mattress needs to be changed. Also the towels are very old and brownish looking, I requested for fresh towels which came but alas it wasn’t much better. (One of the towels was rusted with 2 large holes). FOOD isn’t just bad, it’s expensive. I mean, if you charge 3500+200 Naira for a plate of mac and cheese, don’t serve it in the smallest bowl possible and do actually add enough cheese to it (Cheese is not a garnish in mac and cheese recipe!). Small applies for breakfast. The portions, quality and taste of the food simply can’t be justified considering the amount charged. The bathroom needs to be cleaned with something other than soap, use some chemicals to keep it shiny and bright. The towels and beddings are poorly stored; I had a chanced sighting of it, they are stacked on wooden wall shelves and the wall itself has brow patches that I can bet are moulds due to dampness. PROS: Well, since you’re not deterred by the above mentioned cons, I will garnish this review with some positives. This is a boutique hotel, and as most boutique hotels, it is cute. The Wifi actually worked most of the time. The staff are polite. It is very centrally located in Lekki phase 1. So you can get to most hubs easily. The hotel is peaceful and quiet. Compared to some others, I think this hotel is affordable. Conclusion; this hotel has many things right about it if only they management decided to invest in the business. Otherwise as everything without proper maintenance, it will be completely ruined. I only spent one night, and wasn’t planning on extending even if I wasn’t leaving Lagos. …

Villa Thirty-Three is right down there with some of my worst ever hotel stays. Especially because of the price tag - 30K Naira per night and breakfast is not included. It is like paying British Airway money and getting Ryanair service. The only thing this hotel has going for it is it's location, being ideally placed to explore the prime Lekki areas around Admiralty Way. Cons 1. No tea/coffee making facilities 2. Ordered room service and I had to pay cash for it. I couldn't add it to the room. 3. Room decor is dull and cold 4. TV has only 4 channels 5. Mismatched clothes hangers 6. No complementary bottles of water 7. At breakfast I asked for coffee and I got ONE satchet of instant coffee. 8. Took almost an hour for my breakfast order to arrive. 10. The WiFi clocks in at about 1.5mbps. 11. No bath mat. Slipped on the tiled floor getting out of the shower almost cracking my head against the sink. 12. Condensation in the bathroom 13. Serviced the room and left behind only one bath towel. No hand towel and no spares. 14. No views to speak of.…

This is a review of Safi Lagos, the restaurant within villa 33, Lekki. Safi is an awesome place to go for a quiet, chilled outing and their food is totally fantastic. It's a small, cozy, neat restaurant; been there thrice and will probably visit again.
