Nuestra unidad estaba en el piso 10, para nuestro deleite de nuestros 5 años, con un balcón que daba a la calle. Inmaculada y limpia. Cuarto de baño y cocina decorados con buen gusto y bien equipados, con todo lo que necesita durante unos días. Nuestro hijo dormía en el sofá, con ropa de cama adicional proporcionada. Un paseo fácil a las atracciones Docklands. Nuestro anfitrión se reunió con nosotros en el lugar y nuestro registro y pago fueron rápidos y simples. Bien recomendado y ya hemos reservado una segunda estancia. Gracias.

Check In: Received a text message the day before check in to confirm 12pm arrival. Checkin time is 2pm and I was offered the option of dropping off my bags pre 2pm if the apartment wasn’t ready and also instructions on what to do on arrival. I arrived on time and keyed in the code and made my way up to level 2 as instructed. The checkin process was quick with a couple of papers to sign, got my key and made my way up to floor 19 of the northern tower. There’s a $300 bond and that was charged to the same credit card I made the booking with and it will be released post checkout. Room: I was upgraded to a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom corner apartment with great views of the city and glimpses of the Yarra river on the north and southern sides of the apartment. I used the master suite, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Ethiad Stadium and the Yarra. The master has its own very generous sized ensuite. The double bed is made up of two single beds complete with a huge closet. The 2nd bedroom opens up to a balcony on the Eastern side of the apartment, again with a large closet and double bed. The main bathroom is spacious, with a fully tile bathroom and wet area. A large TV with free Netflix, welcomes you to the lounge with 2 x 3 seater couches, followed by the dining table leading out towards the balcony. A fully stocked kitchen with gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer and a Nespresso machine with coffee cartridges, tea, sugar and milk. The entire lounge and kitchen have floor to ceiling windows presenting those gorgeous northern views. The room also has a washer, drier, ironing facilities and FREE WIFI for up to 5 devices!! Great for the business or family travellers. Facilities: There’s a salt water lap pool on the ground floor and a large spa pool in the same room and also a well equipped gym. Upon vacating the premises you have to remove your rubbish, which is fairly easy to do as there’s designated place on the ground floor by the bike racks on the southern tower. Car parking was free with my booking and this was great for friends that visited throughout my stay. Transport. Directly out the front door on Collins Street is the last stop of the trams, that allow you to easily get around the CBD’s free zone. Uber’s are quick and there’s a taxi stand about 100 meters eastern. Other: A Woolworths grocery store is directly opposite the Collins Street entrance and you can cut through the carpark across the road with an escalator that takes you to the side entrance. Very convenient! Restaurants galore a skip and hop down any direction of the building. Overall: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The reviews were worrying, but as you recap, the majority of the not-so favourable are minor things that (a) the hotel can’t do anything about - like the construction next door during business hours and (b) the staff could easily fix if notified - cleanliness. Yes there’s construction but, i was out of the apartment all day and I had no issues with cleanliness and I’m the kind of person that leaves a place the way I found it (exception of bed sheets which I always leave on the floor of the room). The young lady who checked me in and I assumed communicated with me pre, during and after my stay is warm, professional and extremely easy to deal with. I will be doing quite a bit of travel to Melbourne and I will most definitely not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this place to my colleagues. Thank you Asgar
