No recomiendo
This is a new hotel, with enough free parking around the building. The area is in development, other construction is going on, but without any impact (noise) on the hotel. My room was one with a king bed, but it was rather dark, mainly because the window was in front of a wall (I had room 320). This is not what one would expect, certainly for a brand-new hotel. Another thing that can – in the real sense of the word – provide a headache, is the shower. The sliding door of the shower is about 160 – 170 cm high (+/- 5.5 foot), so I hit the top rail with my head every time I took a shower (I'm 1.83 tall). WIFI access is easy and the internet has a good speed. It also keeps you online all the time, no need to manually reconnect if you don’t use it for a few minutes. Breakfast is available, but no buffet. I don’t like this, it simply takes too much time, and menu options are limited. Also note that everything you add, must be paid extra. Coffee is included, but when the waitress also offers orange juice, and you take a glass, it appears extra on the bill. In case you want to eat outside: be aware you need to drive a couple of miles to find some restaurants – not a joy with all the traffic jams in this area. There is also a rooftop lounge on the 5th floor. Be sure to take the left elevator, since the one on the right only goes till the 4th floor. It is very annoying, because you don’t know upfront which elevator door will open when you push the button. The rooftop is a nice place to relax, but if you need a drink, you must go to the bar… on the 1st floor. They were adding additional furniture and seat cushions, so it will even be more comfortable. The airco was a problem: the fan never stops, and there is no way to switch it off. I reported this, and they would send a technician. Maybe they did, but the fan kept going... Ask for a room on a lower floor, the elevator is very slow (25 seconds to cover 2 floors…)…
It's brand new so everything is clean and fresh. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. But the location is kind of in the middle of nowhere. There's a restaurant onsite but nothing else around the hotel other than offices and homes. For similar hotel rates, there are many other excellent hotels in the valley at locations that offers much more convenience to travelers.
The hotel was lovely! Great location with great staff! Rooms were very clean/ comfortable/ the hotel itself is brand new! New beds make for a great nights sleep. There's a rooftop lounge as well, but I didn't make it! Highly recommend staying here!
Brand new hotel but i think they need more experience in running the place...maybe give them time and it will be better. The pool and pool area were not finished. No outdoor seating except one bench. We went a day with No hot water - freezing showers. We had a 2 queen room - and i wouldn't recommend it. The bed is so tight to the wall that the air conditioner almost touches the bed and you can hardly get down that side. Only plugs on the side of the bed where the One nightstand is. On the other side of both beds - no nightstands...no lighting..no plugs. So definitely wouldn't recommend. We ran a long extension cord so that we had more plugs bedside. We were given a kids menu that said kids meals were like $3.49 and included milk or orange juice. We ordered 2 kids breakfasts the day we checked out and they charged us over $17.00. When i complained - it took about 15 mins to fix and they refunded me $2.00. By then i was angry...we were late for the airport and they obviously didn't have a Clue what they were doing. The manager approached and said they would comp our stay and refund our money. 3 -1/2 weeks later - they still haven't refunded us or offered any compensation. I think they need proper hotel management that is aware of US practices in business because they clearly don't know how to run a hotel. That being said - it was clean but lighting in rooms was dull and overall wouldn't stay here again. …
What an amazing find! the hotel is gorgeous and the staff is amazing! The rooms are beautiful and very spacious, love that it is an all suite hotel. When I visited the bar, the bartender suggested that I grab a cocktail and head to the rooftop lounge, AMAZING views! This hotel is a "must stay"... This will be my hotel of choice when visiting the San Jose and Milpitas area. Finally a hotel that understands the imporantance of good internet!
