I had a booking with this hotel ROCKSKI BED AND BREAKFAST, but 3 days before check-in they cancelled the booking saying there was no room and the booking was mistakenly given. They apologized and cancelled the booking. But even after 2 weeks they are reluctant to refund the money. Very unprofessional attitude. Don't know if I'll ever get the money back.

This place is minimally decorated and totally gives the vibes of a Boutique Hotel. Location is very close to Laitumkhrah Market. We booked the room on Terrace and it was amazing to have the space to ourselves. Staff was warm and breakfast, omg, it was delicious! They serve both English and Indian breakfast! Totally recommended!

The hotel was located in Laitumkrah , which is close to cafes, restaurants, good to explore. The rooms are spacious and clean. The front office staff , Soma , was very attentive and courteous. David the chef, cooked up a delicious breakfast every morning and was very knowledgeable on the local veg & fruits of the region. He is a chef and runs his own restaurant. The staff was very polite and serviced all our needs. They also let us use the kitchen one afternoon to cook lunch. The only negative, would be the location next to a music school, whose practise sessions can be pretty loud and disturbing. But by 7pm, those sessions stop and it is quiet then. Nothing much Rockski can do about it. Overall, a very pleasant stay and recommended in Laitumkrah area.

Arrived Rocckski Hotel with the intention of staying a night or two. Ended up staying for almost 2 weeks. Clean friendly and well run hotel with good breakfasts - thanks to David. Rafael will organise all your travel arrangements. Beds are comfortable and theres a wide range of english channels on the TV.

Rockski and Rafael, names which go hand in gloves. Names which go parallel in terms of comfort and warmth. Was here for 5 nights and never felt like a hotel. The host and staff is more than helpful and food is yummy... When in Shillong, stay with them for a memorable stay...
