Dear David, We are truly distressed to hear about the shortcomings of your stay. We wish we had done something to make your stay pleasant! If a guest is not happy with a room, we usually try to upgrade him to a higher room standard and it is with regret that I understand that it was not the case with you. The guests who rate our hotel 'excellent' are the ones who consider the affordable rates offered by our hotel. I will concede that they might have been occupants of better rooms quality-wise, as rooms may differ in terms of layout and decoration. Rooms are normally allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, which might explain why you were not offered the best room in our hotel. Thank you for being our guest and please do accept our honest apologies for the inconveniences during your stay!

Dear Paul, First and foremost, thank you for being our guest and for acknowledging the merits of our front desk receptionist! With all due respect, can you seriously state that our hotel charges 4 star hotels rates?! You happen to have mentioned the price you’ve paid for the double room you were offered in our hotel!!! Realistically speaking, 4 star hotels - in a sophisticated metropolis such as London – do not offer such room rates. I will concede that our hotel pales in comparison to luxury ones, but the cost difference is definitely substantial. Furnishings may not have been up to your standards; a matter of taste, I agree! But cleanliness in our hotel is taken seriously indeed. You said, and I quote, ‘if this was four in a bed I'd be popping 35 in an envelope and sliding it forward across the table’! I must admit that I am at a loss for words…! This is definitely not an accurate representation of the times we live in. As per the ‘sweet and polite’ receptionist, you may rest assured that her intention was not to make you feel uncomfortable. She must have been a bit surprised! After all, one does not often see guests checking-in while savouring their ‘fruit pastel ice lolls’. Once again, thank you for staying with us and we apologise if your stay did not meet your high level of expectations!

Dear Stephen, Let me take this opportunity to thank you for elaborating on your recent visit at our property! With your permission, some of the aspects which entitled you to be perturbed over state of affair in your room could have been swiftly remedied if reported at our front desk! We concede that the information acquired on TripAdvisor is partly correct, but the assumption that the 'girl on reception' would not be able to respond to your concerns falls short on accuracy. Allow me to proceed with an explanation: the 'girl on reception' would have offered you at least two solutions to your problem: either by upgrading you to a room free of any inconvenience, or by immediately dispatching one of our maintenance members who would have been more than happy to address your needs. As per the display of inconsiderate behaviour on behalf of the guests next to your room, we can only extend our sincerest apology for such inconvenience, which definitely ruined your stay! But again, as our guest, you were more than entitled to express your distress and obtain the accommodation that you truly deserved! Should you have any suggestion which would give us the chance to make up for your loss, please do reach out to us at any time convenient for you. Thank you!
