What makes a guest here remember the place is the romantic ambiance of the restaurant on the ground floor, behind the reception desk and adjacent to the stairway going to the second floor.Take your breakfast or your dinner here because the dining area is not air-conditioned. Dinner here has a romantic setting. There is a lighted garden with a vintage wooden carved swing. The chairs are vintage 1900s including the wooden carve tables. I was with my sister vacationing here who arrived separately with me from Manila. In short we had a weekend vacation with our relatives. The food was great and staff members are so friendly. The accommodation was roomy even an extra bed or mattress would fit on the wide floor area. Price is affordable. One problem,however, is the lack of parking space for your host or relatives visiting you. There is also a big reception area on the second floor and a veranda to view the street below while waiting for your guests.Another problem could be the traffic situation during rush hour between 5 pm and 7 pm. There are also nearby fast food restaurant if your are in a hurry. The tag that reads it's not your ordinary hotel is quite right. You feel at home here what with a beautiful garden to appreciate while taking your breakfast or dinner. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport which is around 20 minutes away from this hotel on a main thoroughfare.…

Has a romantic touch for a couple who need a place to stay the night with a hot to order breakfast. Clean rooms and attentive stay to meet your needs. The garden area is very romantic at night and nice to view while eating breakfast.

Stayed at Gwandalan for a night and another at Radisson Blue in Cebu in a premium room. Yet, Gwandalan ticked all the boxes surpassing the 5 star RB Hotel. It’s a home away from home. From extra comfortable pillows, ambiance, beautifully decorated rooms and relaxing garden to good food and well made coffee, this place truly is a place to stay while in Dipolog City. Best Kambuchia ever!.

Gwandalan, a place of rest is truly what it is. I’ve been to 5 star hotels but Gwandalan has both a luxurious and homely character. It is a boutique hotel with rooms that opens to a small beautiful garden and outdoor dining. One of the owners has spent a good part of his life designing and outfitting shops in Dubai. What do you expect he will do when designing his own place? It will be nothing but the best. The bed is so comfy, the bathroom has a strong shower, the aircon just works efficiently, the room décor is so chic and the room rate is a bargain. Even the hotel manager herself, Royce will attend to your every need from organizing your breakfast to driving you to the airport.
