A beautiful campground with everything you may need! It has toilets, hot showers, a laundry machine and a dryer and even a coffee machine! The sites are nicely separated which makes it very quiet, almost like you‘re alone there. We arrived late but that was no problem for the owners. They were very welcoming and even took the time to give us some recommendations for the rest of our trip as they were cleaning the facilities (which are very clean!) at around 11pm. Would 100% recommend!!
When my husband and I were planning a trip to Bella Coola we could not find a place to stay with our RV. The only place available was this little campground. I tried to find some reviews on it but there were only three and one was not very favourable. I decided to call them and to my surprise the young woman who answered was so nice and so honest. She explained that she and her family had just bought Gnomes in the fall and were trying to make some changes as to what their vision of Gnomes would one day be. My husband and I are seniors and we were a bit worried but decided to give it a try. When we arrived the owners were not there but when I called they answered immediately telling us to just pick whichever site we wanted as they were out with some of their guests on a hike. Within 30 minutes both David and Cathy were at our site introducing themselves and making sure we had everything we needed. As the weekend went on we watched them do this with each visitor that came onto their property. They made us feel very welcome and very comfortable. At the back of their property is a nice little trail. The washrooms are wheelchair accessable and very clean. I only gave them a four because they are still in the process to make things the way they want them. If you need a place to camp while in the Bella Coola area pop in and see this lovely little campsite.…
Beautiful wooded setting, perfect for us, plus owner has built and maintains a self-guided nature trail through the woods. Campsite (tenting) was quiet and lovely. Owner gave us outstanding service including dropping us off at the ferry early, and picking us up from the ferry at a late hour. We are headed there again this summer. I just saw on their website they have new management 2019 (he said he was planning to retire). I had to post this review of our excellent experience to offset the other reviewer who complained about some extension cords.
Karl and Susan are so happy to acommadate their Customers! I love this lovely wooded park setting WAY to go if you love nature! HUGE beautiful trees everywhere with water meandering through, just sit back and watch the birds and nature YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!
Bella coola Recientemente visité el valle y paramos en GH buscando un camping. Las instalaciones estaban en malas condiciones y todo estaba cubierta con alargadores corriendo por todos lados. No nos impresionó y continuó por la carretera.
