I had a decent, very small room on the third floor. It fit the bed, a desk, and a TV with tiny table. No dresser or closet, but fortunately there were hooks on the bathroom door - fine for one night. Would not work for more than that, especially for business where you might want to hang clothing up so as not to turn into one giant wrinkle. AC was going, which was appreciated. No mosquito net, which surprised me at first, but that high up and with the window closed because of the AC, nary a mosquito was in sight. Nice view of mountains out the window. White noise from AC covered up some of the city noise. I was glad to be up high - fewer mosquitoes and less noise. However, a fellow traveler took a first floor room in case of emergency. There are open common porch areas and stairwell balconies one could climb from, but I don't remember seeing a second stairwell, so he had a good point. Unlike some other TZ hotels (also budget-ish), neither water nor mini fridge in my room - but a fellow traveler had two bottles in his room, so maybe it was an oversight. You do need that water to brush your teeth, after all! Television was available, as I mentioned, but I didn't turn it on. Hotel wifi was available in the lobby, but signal didn't make it to my room. Fortunately they have nice couches in the lobby. The restaurant was good. I had shrimp something - curry, maybe? - with rice. It came with greens and a bowl beans in sauce (like baked beans). I've seen those all over but am not sure if they were to go with the rice or something else. Was stuffed before I got to them, as the portion size was more than sufficient. For breakfast I found a boiled egg, plantain (or was it fried banana??), fresh fruit, and the usual instant coffee with hot milk and raw sugar (which I love). Of course, they had chai/tea and hot chocolate as well. You do have to go outdoors to go to the restaurant. We ate dinner later, and notice that there was a guard with a machine gun stationed in the street at night. Secure, I guess! If that's an issue, I noticed they had room service (have posted pics of room service menu).…
The security is terrible ,had my vehicle window broken ,property stolen and little or no cooperation from staff or management They have one old guard who sleeps all the time Have reported to police and have registred
