Marvettes Hideaway is a one of a kind Gem. The images doesn't do any justice, you really have to visit to experience this beautiful property. My family and I enjoyed every bit of our stay at this beautiful, breathtaking and Cozy House. Full kitchen with everything you need, private pool, and a backyard deck with a breath taking view.
Marvette is a spectacular host, very helpful, thoughtful and kind. Always a phone call away. Pete also, was extremely wonderful, informative, and kind. I will definitely visit this one of a kind gem on my next vacation

A true hideaway gem on top of the hill.
Marvettes Hideaway villa in Jamaica Is a true hidden gem. It sits on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was a very pleasant surprise when I stepped Inside this house,
how well decorated it was. It felt very homie. We were so lucky to have the place to ourselves. It felt like a second honeymoon for us. We barely left the house. There even was a Terrific guy there who's name is Pete he was wonderful and attended to our every needs and also a great chef as well. We was really grateful to have him there. I appreciate that the owner of this lovely house made time to always check on her guest. She is such a caring Lady. We really enjoy this hidden gem with its wonderful views, beautiful landscaping, and great spacious rooms. Thank you for sharing your hideaway Paradise It was just what I was looking for on this vacation.

Marvette’s Hideaway is beautiful. The view is breathtaking. The pictures does not do justice to how the rooms are spacious. Pete was extremely pleasant and welcoming. His food was also delicious. Marvette also kept in touch to make sure everything ran smoothly. I love it. One of the best customer services I have ever received in Jamaica. I can’t wait to return

Private getaway for families
Marvettes Hideaway is one of the best Seaview Villas in Jamaica. It has beautiful ocean views, and updated aesthetics. The host was very accommodating, and very attentive to meeting all our needs. Chef Pete was superb, and made delicious entrees that we selected. This location is excellent for family gatherings with extensive square footage, lovely outdoor seating with a pool, and several lounge areas inside & out.

This home is beautiful and very accommodating for our group of 8.
The host was very kind and attentive. The Villa has a beautiful view , comfortable beds and nice outdoor seating.. It is in a great location and we felt very safe in the area. The safes in the rooms were an added plus . The home does have 2 sets of full staircases with no assist handles in the a bathroom. This Villa provided a great place to relax following a day of mission work in Jamaica.

This place is a real hidden gem!
This Beautiful luxury villa is something really special! Its got a lovely outdoor space with gardens at the front and at the back is a private swimming pool, gazebo area with bbq and a decking area perfect for sunbathing.
Every detail has been carefully thought out so you have everything you need, there’s even a laundry room so if you want you can pack light and carry your bag on the plane to save the hassle of checking in and wash your clothes while you’re there. There are beach towels there too so that saves space in your bag. The rooms are Air conditioned and have safes in the enormous walk in wardrobes.
The Location is quiet and at the end of a road so there are no people coming and going. The neighbours are so friendly and welcoming as are all the people I’ve met. On the way from the airport we stopped at side of road for jelly coconut and the man gave me a bag of mixed fruit as a welcome to Jamaica.
It’s a 5-10 minute walk to a secluded white sandy beach with crystal clear water. Marvette’s hideaway is set in the lush green hills with a view of the sparkling sea which you can see from your private balcony.
Marvette’s team of people are what makes it work and will give you the best experience! You can literally come to Jamaica, let Marvette know what kind of holiday you want to have and she will make it possible. All these things can be planned before you even come, as Marvette will communicate with you before your holiday, as will Chris, who is a driver and tour guide and has taken me anywhere i wanted to go during my trip, telling me so much about the island.
Chris was there waiting for me at Montego Bay airport as my plane landed. He knows everyone and he knows all the cool places to go, taking me to Benta falls, where I got a private tour, walking up the falls in the river, where I got an exfoliating massage with the minerals. Chris timed this perfectly as it was at that moment in the holiday where you start peeling, I swear I looked and felt 10 years younger when I came out of there!
He even collected his friend Bammy and brought her to the villa and do my hair.
Sheldon lives onsite taking care of the place. He taught me how to cook plantain 3 different ways, breadfruit, fried chicken, jerk chicken. He took me to collect fresh spring water and on a tour where the locals live, who were so friendly and welcoming. He took me to the beach and showed me around. I always felt safe in Sheldon’s company.
I never felt lonely even though I was travelling alone. Denise keeps the place spotlessly clean and was in touch daily to see how I was doing and if I needed anything.
I must point out that I wanted to spend time with Marvette’s crew and I learned so much from them but if you want to be left alone, that’s also cool. It’s entirely up to you as it’s your holiday but for me, it was Marvette’s team of people who made the holiday the best experience of my life!
I’m now feeling like I’ve recharged my batteries. This place has been like medicine and I can’t wait to come back asap and I suggest you do too if you want to really spoil yourself!!

Home Away from Home
When my family and I arrived from the airport, we were greeted by our most accommodating Concierge, David and Master Chef, Donna. We were blown away by the hospitality and service we received during our week stay at Marvette's Hideaway.
The beauty of the home and surrounding plant life was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Oh! And to step out to the balcony morning, noon or night and see the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking.
Marvette and I celebrated our birthdays 1 day apart. It was great to have her own site during our vacation. She was very personable and down to earth. She made my family and me feel like we were a part of her family. On our 2nd day, she drove us down to the beach to enjoy some time in the beautiful tropical waters. Marvette didn't have to do this for us but she did. We are forever grateful of her hospitality.
David, our Concierge went above and beyond to make sure my family and I enjoyed our 1st time stay in Jamaica. He gave us nothing but the best of everything we requested. We are so grateful to have had David help us with our excursions, rides & in all of the craziness during this pandemic he made sure we received our Covid-19 testing in a timely manner.
Oh Donna, Oh Donna! WOW!!! Chef Donna prepared for us "authentic Jamaican cuisine everyday. We enjoyed every single meal she served. You could tell from her presentation and explanation of meals that she loves what she does. My daughter grew such a liking for Chef Donna, that she would stay talking in the kitchen with her while she was preparing our meals.
I had a wonderful surprise birthday party during my stay at Marvette's Hideaway. I was blown away by the thought and care put into making my birthday a night to remember. Thank you all for making me feel so special.
We give Marvette's Hideaway ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I recommend this villa for couples, families, etc. We will be returning for another vacation in the future. The decor is absolutely beautiful. You will not be disappointed if you book a stay here!

Great Trip
Great accommodations for those with exquisite taste. Staff so helpful and works hard to keep guests happy. The owner follows up regarding our needs. Property kept well. Wonderful place for a great Getaway! We look forward to future stays here.

Could not wait
The reviews do not lie, my friend set up a get away and I haven’t been too many places but Marvette’s hide away was a great choice, I loved everything about it the views the beach the entertainment the staff and the peace of seeing a sunset and a sunrise from my balcony if you need to get away and I know you do, then Marvette’s hide away is the place to go, you won’t be disappointed and you won’t want to leave either, because I didn’t, enjoyed everything looking to book for a longer stay next time, now that I know for myself, where I can go to get away from it all is at Marvette’s Hide Away. Food, Room, Visual atmosphere, surroundings all A+++

Wonderful Oasis Getaway!
Pictures really do not do this place justice - it is beautiful and the ocean views are stunning! After a year of not traveling, this was the perfect getaway for me and my wife. Not only was the villa itself wonderful but we loved being so close to so many attractions. Bluefields beach was beautiful and only a five minute drive! It offers the perfect combination of exploring and relaxation. We miss our daily afternoon swims and cocktails. The food and the staff were all top notch - it was like being at a 5-star resort but much more intimate! We can't wait to come back next year - we are definitely making this a yearly trip after staying here!
