Villa lived up to all expectations, very clean, with plenty of space, fantastic views across the valley (enjoyed watching planes coming in to Malaga airport in the distance - but no noise) and excellent Wi-Fi. Plenty for the whole family to do including table tennis and darts when not in the pool. Very easy access to Malaga airport, Malaga itself and the coast. Carminito del Rey was a highlight. We booked the villa for 10 days in August, with our group consisting of 3 children under 10 (the youngest being 4), and 6 Adults including grandparents. Booking was easy and transparent, and we had no problems at all before our trip (the owner answered all of our questions quickly, and was very helpful - he was also readily available throughout our stay). The villa is lovely, and very well-equipped. Plenty of large air-conditioned bedrooms in the main building, and the summerhouse in the garden also had AC and was fully equipped. The shared living spaces inside were very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could need. Where this place really shone through was outside. The views of the hills were simply stunning and you could happily spend hours just soaking them in. The pool was plenty big enough for our group, and the kids spent most of the holiday in there. The barbecue was used on several occasions, and we spent almost all of our time relaxing on the patio or by the pool. The location is well situated for trips to Malaga, Torremolinos, Benalmedina, Fuengirola, and Mijas, and for golfers there is a good 27 hole course about 10 mins from the villa (Lauro golf), or courses like Alhaurin, or La Cala are no more than 30 mins away (La Cala has epic views, and is a really challenging place to play). We would definitely consider going back!

This house is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful house in a beautiful location. The pictures, as amazing as they are, don't prepare you for what a great place this is. Immaculate inside and out. Sitting outside on the bench out the back of an evening and watching the ever changing colours of the mountains and valley as they sun went down was a truly unforgettable experience. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here and I cannot think of a better place to do it. The pool is lovely and kept so clean. Wonderful caretaker Angela who is an absolute gem. Even came round half way through the holiday with a basketful of goodies for us. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for her. William, the owner, was great to deal with from start to finish. A wonderful holiday, worth every penny. Book it, you will be so glad you did. And William, if we ever win the lottery we will be giving you a call begging to buy the place from you :-) Thanks again for a truly wonderful holiday.
