Just spent 2 weeks at Casa Suenos on the Mar Menor golf resort, August 2022 with my partner, son and father. We all absolutely loved it! Really nice 3 bedroom villa with a private pool. Less than 10 minute walk to the on site supermarket and a few more minutes to bars and restaurants just outside. The resort itself is quiet which was exactly what we wanted but the bars and restaurants were lively enough in an evening or a 10 minute drive to the town and beaches of Los Alcazares which is lovely with all the amenities you would expect to find The villa was clean and tidy with the kitchen fully equipped with everything you would need. The garden and pool are not at all overlooked and get the sun all day with the pool being maintained and cleaned twice while we were there. For anyone who likes English tv and Sports there is a cable box with every channel you would get with Sky back home The owner was and has been great (we left a hard drive which she has arranged to be posted back to us) Good communication from the day we booked answering any questions we had and also helping us book a taxi from the airport. (We booked a car which I would highly recommend but couldn’t upgrade it to a bigger one which would fit us all in with luggage when my father decided he would like to come with us!) I would highly recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday and would definitely book it again in the future. No complaints at all

We arrived at a 'Building site'.
I booked this villa in Feb 19 for 13 nights from 29th July 19 to 11th August. Prior to our holiday I emailed the owner on several occasions to request info and I received replies within a few days. Not once was I informed that there was on-going building works on 2 villas, one next door and one 2 doors away. We could not believe our eyes as we arrived at the villa late on 29/7/19. A skip full of rubble on one side of the driveway and our 2nd parking space was filled with tiles on wooden pallets. As we opened the car doors all we could hear was a loud drilling/cutting noise. The noise was continuous as we unloaded the cars and accessed the villa. We opened the rear patio doors to view the garden and pool area to be 'greeted' with more noise and a cloud of dust, which had settled on the patio, dining table and pool. I immediately contacted the owner who arranged for the property manager to visit the next day. The manager spoke to the neighbours in an attempt to cease the building work during our stay (apparently this had been agreed with our villa owner ?) . Unfortunately, the neighbour was keen to progress his work and to be fair he did communicate with myself as to the most convenient times to 'dig up' the drive and complete other noisy activities. My complaint is directed to the owner as she knew that this work had been on going for 2 years and that the street was like a building site. Had I have known that there were on-going works next door, I would not have booked ! In addition to noise and disruption we had little or no air con in the bedrooms for the 1st week. This was an intermittent fault which had occurred during the weeks prior to our visit. Once again you can imagine how we felt after being told that the 1st available engineer was booked for 14th August ( 3 days after we would be leaving). I drove to Torrevieja and paid 70 euros for an air con unit but no concern or offer was made by the owner even though the temps were extremely high during the night and that we had a 5 and 2 year old to consider. Fortunately the manager was able to book an engineer earlier and the air con was fixed for the last 5 nights. The neighbour also ceased the building works during our 2nd week. We made the most of the remainder of our holiday and enjoyed it, however I think the owner did not appreciate the disruption we encountered during our 1st week. If you are considering this villa ensure you ask the right questions, otherwise 'you will be left in the dark'.

In response to this review. We did appreciate the disruption caused to this family and done everything in our power to address all the issues raised. We gave the guests the option to leave the villa the next day if they were dissatisfied with things. We have rented our property for many years and this is our first bad review. The building work that was ongoing next door came as a complete surprise to us when we visited ourselves in late June. As far as we were aware all building work had been completed so when we spoke with the neighbor and gave him the information of our bookings he assured us that no building work would be carried out. With regards to the air conditioning the engineer couldn’t find any fault prior to your stay and the delay getting them back was due to high demand because it was high season. The date given was the next available appointment but we were told that if anything became available before they would give us priority, which they did, all issues you had were beyond our control and we did everything possible to address the problems. After our telephone conversation on the day you arrived I gave you the opportunity to find alternative accommodation but you chose to remain in the villa but had your mind set on financial recompense immediately . Within two days of arriving you were asking me how much I was going to refund you for the inconvenience. This isn’t the actions of someone who was solely interested in having things put right but about how much money you could get back.

Great villa on a great complex
Our second trip to the Mar Menor resort, but our first at this villa. Very efficient comms and support from both the owner and her 'villa manager' on the resort. Villa has everything you could need for a family holiday, and has a real home from home feeling. It's located in in a quiet cul-de-sac, easily walkable to the well stocked and priced on site supermarket, and bar and restaurants. Would visit again.

Beautiful Home from Home
We have visited Casa Suenos several times over the past few years and can say without a shadow of doubt that this is one of the nicest holiday homes we have stayed in. The villa is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. It also has ample pots, pans, tableware and bedlinen, towels and beach towels (the beach towels are great as this saves on travel weight). The swimming pool and private rear garden are fantastic and go down a treat with the family. We would recommend the hire of a car to enable trips to some of the amazing sights the area has to offer. Beaches, Roman amphitheatre, churches, great bars and restaurants all within 30 minute drive, but, should you decide to stay on the resort the new supermarket is just a 5 minute walk from the villa and just outside the resort are some really nice bars and restaurants. The resort centre is approx. 10-15 minute walk with more bars and restaurants, communal swimming pool and the Inter-Continental hotel were you can spoil yourself with a nice spa treatment. We would have no hesitate in recommending Casa Suenos to our family and friends.

Realmente es una excelente casa. Muy bien cuidada, no le falta ningún detalle. La zona aunque es imprescindible tener coche esta muy bien comunica para ir a diferentes sitios del entorno. La urbanización es un mar de paz y tranquilidad. Muy recomendable.

Lovely Villa
We have just enjoyed a great holiday at Casa Suenos. This is a lovely villa with private pool and gardens set in a quiet cul de sac within the Mar Menor Golf Resort. The villa is beautifully presented and has everything you need to feel at home, and the local amenities within and around the resort are excellent. You don’t need to be a Golfer to enjoy the facilities available and there is so much to see and do in the region that we will soon be planning a return visit so that we can explore more of the beautiful Mar Menor.

Pregnancy break
Stayed at this home from home property late last year whilst having a last minute break away before having my daughter. The private pool although a bit chilly in september was still useable and allowed me to work on my pregnancy niggles without being overlooked. Again couldnt fault the cleanliness of the villa and it is always my first choice when going back to spain as you can do as much or as little as you want to. Have already booked to go back this year.

Just returned from a weeks holiday at casa suenos it is a quiet relaxing place very well kept inside and out. We enjoyed it that much we have already booked to return in June .

Lovely As Ever
Just returned from our trip to Casa Suenos and as usual it was very well presented, spotlessly clean and very homely. We have been going to Casa Suenos on and off now for a number of years and can say it is without doubt one of the nicest holiday properties we have stayed in. Situated in a nice cul de sac on the Mar Menor Golf Resort makes for a very pleasant family friendly holiday. We would recommend the hire of a car to visit one of the many beaches, ancient sites or some of the amazing restaurants close by. The water park in Murcia is a must for children and adults alike or visit the Roman Amphitheatre at Cartagena and take a cafe at the marina nd people watch. You are bound to find something you and the whole family would enjoy.

Lovely villa in a quiet location.
The villa was lovely. Very well equipped inside and with pool inflatables. The pool and garden were not overlooked and the location was ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Booking was very easy and Colette gave us all the information we needed. We stayed in another villa on the Mar Menor Golf Resort but Casa Suenos was much better placed and more peaceful. Thank you Colette for letting us stay at your villa and I am sure we'll visit again soon.
