everything was perfect, villa is big and beautiful, on amazing place. But in this time nonexcepting every day noise from house building next to vila. Include christmas days. Also equipment in villa like a a dishmachine, washing machine, grill, necessary needs a replacemant for a new ones.

The house was fantastic and the property management team was great setting up all of our excursions, The experience could not have been better! Make sure you rent a 4WD vehicle as it is necessary to reach the house.

The home is very comfortable, with tons of room for the two families that stayed here for about 10 days. The vast amount of outdoor space is unreal! We spent hours every day cooling off in the pool (a must-have IMO for any stay in CR). We could hear howler monkeys in the distance, saw toucans on the properties many trees, the kids loved looking for geckos, and were delighted to see giant iguana, and we even saw an agouti and a white-nosed coati while sitting on the outdoor couch after nightfall.
We were thrilled to learn about the properties lime, banana, and mango trees. You cant get better than fresh picked fruit! The outdoor bbq area was very convenient as well. The closest beach, playa Hermosa is also one of the quietest around, without vendors and needing to "buy" your shade.
I would say the only down side is that the pool house was too humid for most of our party, but it worked out bc a few people didnt mind and were happy to stay out there. The dishwasher was on the fritz but we understand that repairing appliances can take some time here. The road/driveway is steep but we are used to that, but where we come from you would also add snow/ice, so rain was nothing!
Jonathan and the YGH team was incredibly attentive and helpful during our stay. He had great recommendations and we had a good experience at every place he mentioned. Overall, I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to spend some time here!

We loved our stay here. It was our 3rd time to Costa Rica and by far our favorite visit. The outdoor area was our favorite and we used it nightly. On previous visits at other VRBO's the bugs had been too bad to even sit outside at night, but not here! We are already looking at booking it again for next year. Ishmael was very helpful in showing us the place and answering our questions after we got there. Stephen, the event coordinator was phenomenal in helping us book our excurisons.
A copule of things to note about the house - you DEFINITELY need 4x4 to get there, and I would suggest something larger than the Rav4 that they rent you at the airport - our bumpers scraped every time we went to/from the driveway because the clearance was too low. Not a big deal but FYI. The dishwasher also didn't work well so we ended up just hand washing. (They may have this repaired). Also, the A/C unit in the main room and master was weak - it never really cooled the room off, however, the AC unit in the twin bedroom was an over achiever and you don't need to set it very cool to work well. :-)
Also, FYI, there were not any beach things to use (except towels), or drink coolers/to go cups. So, if you plan to make any beach visits you need to purchase chairs or rent them. We purchased and left 3 boogie boards for future guests/kids! This was likely the biggest "bummer" about the trip because all other houses we have VRBO'd have had pool/beach items for guests to use, so if you come with kids, bring or buy your own. If you come with adults it probably isn't a big deal.
We didn't use the pool house because the other guests ended up canceling on us, but it would have made additional families comfortable sleeping there! We plan to book this house again!

The backyard was better than the pictures show. It was the perfect yard to enjoy family and friends. The pool is large enough for morning laps if you are interested. We enjoyed watching toucans fly over our heads every afternoon. I would definitely recommend this place.

The villa is very well maintained, clean and everything was in working order. The location is excellent for bird watching, due to the higher elevation as well as the adjacent valley.
The property is fairly private but there are other homes around it. It is well screened so this isn't an issue.
The kitchen is well stocked with essentials. The pool access for seniors isn't overly easy, there is a shallow area with a fairly large drop to the main pool area. No issue for kids or healthy adults but harder for any people with mobility issues.
The road to the villa does require 4 wheel drive with some ground clearance, particularly if it rains. It is very steep in sections and had washout areas during our visit. One day we found a whole car bumper beside one bad section, so anything low is going to struggle!
We would absolutely recommend this property, communication was quick and easy with Ismael and he answered any questions we had almost immediately. This is a beautiful area of Costa Rica! Can't wait to go back.

We were pretty excited when we found this property...
We were pretty excited when we found this property as we wanted to explore near Uvita and Domenical. You never know what you are going to get, but we are happy to report that the photos and description match the experience. Loved all of the beautiful outdoor space. Worked well for our family and friends. YGH management team was professional, prompt and easy to work with. We would not hesitate to stay with them again. If you are looking to explore this part of Costa Rica, this is a great spot to call home.
