We had a great time in this house. It has a nice, large garden, very well-equipped kitchen (I liked the orange juicer), great lounge, 3 big bedrooms, 2 good bathrooms, and secure parking for 2 cars. Excellent BBQ with outside lighting so you can see what you're doing in the dark. Great sea view. It takes 10 minutes to drive up to the motorway, from which you can be anywhere on the island quickly (La Laguna or Puerto de la Cruz 30 mins, Tenerife North airport 20 mins, etc.). The owner was very pleasant and met us on arrival. He had made a real effort with Christmas stuff in the house. Great for small kids, as it's all on one level, nice secure perimeter, garden to run around in, etc. You'd definitely need a car here, as the nearest town for shops etc is Tacoronte, 8 mins' drive away.
We visited the Loro Parque zoo, Teide mountain, a few beaches, La Oratava, Garachico, La Laguna, Punto del Hidalgo and a few other places, and found this house a great base for doing so.
