Location:
The Villa is in a private gated development, less than 10 minutes drive from a major city called Telde, where you can find banks, shops , takeaways, some restaurants etc. There is a large Hyper Market called Alcampo which is so big it is like a large American Supermarket such as Walmart. Less than 5 minutes away there is an outlet centre with brand such as Nike, Lacoste, Levis and others. It take 15-20 minutes by car to the capital City Las Palmas (taxi around 25 euro), where there are many restaurants, shops and everything else you see a capital city. It take around 30-35 minutes by car (around 55 euros in a taxi) to get to Playa de englis and the southern resorts. The airport is 10-15 minutes away.
The Villa:
The villa is a lovely, well presented large villa with 6 bedrooms and will sleep 12 people over 2 floors. The villa was very clean and properly cleaned with COVID in mind before we arrived. There is a large open plan lounge and dining area and a good sized kitchen with everything you need (an american double fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hobs, dishwasher etc and lots of cutlery, mugs, glasses etc). There is a large QLED Samsung TV in the lounge with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc and high speed WIFI. There is a Utility Room with a washer and dryer. The Villa is nicely decorated to a high spec. It was much better than the photos advertised.
The gardens were lovely with artificial grass, 6 sun longers, a heated pool , a soft romantic lounger bed , which can hold 4. At the bottom of the villa's grounds you can see the golf course and can see the Sea to the far left.
In the basement is a games room with a table tennis table and darts board. There is also a Gym, with various apparatus and weights.
There were 3 portable air con units
We loved the space and really enjoyed staying in the villa.
The Host:
The host Fernando was a very friendly and helpful guy, who bent over backwards to help us, like recommending and booking restaurants and taxis and advising on anything we asked for. He visited us several times including changing all towels half way through our 9 night stay. He also provided separate pool towels.
When we arrived there was a welcome message on a chalk board, chocolates and wine given to us. I can applaud Fernando much more, He was the perfect host
The location was quiet and away from the noise in main resorts but fairly easy to travel around with a rental car (there is a large garage at the villa with a remote control door) and taxis.
For a lathe family or group or a for a family of 4 like us, this a a great villa and i would highly recommend it.
