Stayed June 2018. A great place to relax. Beautiful setting, in a small river valley. Windows over looking the weir on a small river. Riverside garden available for use. Lots of wildlife, especially birds: Kingfisher, heron & others. Wake up to bird song. Very relaxing & quiet. The property had a vg bed & vg linen, and was spotlessly clean. Had everything you needed & was well maintained. Interior was spacious but perhaps a little charmless. Some reading lights & a more comfortable reading sofa might be helpful ? Everything in the property worked very well. Upstairs shower might be tricky if you're very tall. The Mill House is approx. 30m from the owners property, but very private. Mrs Scott is the perfect charming host, and available if needed. Lots of local walking opportunities, or more near the Le Brenne regional park centre near Rosnay. Several other birdwatching centres near Rosnay. Good weekly food market in nearby Le Blanc, which also has a good butcher & several restaurants. Beautiful church of St Savin nearby; has a small weekly food market.

Been here before. Mrs Scott so caring and helpful towards her clients. The river and scenery and wild life just great. The accommodation is ok and quite comfortable and I believe the owners will be upgrading the shower and kitchen later in the year. So, for those who don't want to travel far from the Moulin it's ideal. Le Blanc at 5k is an interesting little town on the River Creuse, with a good choice of supermarkets. Some nice towns within 20 miles, Montmorillon for one. All in all a good spot to unwind, and of course the weather was very sunny and warm.

The mill delivered all that we had hoped for. The setting is picturesque with a weir and a wide,free-flowing river. Direct access to the adjacent island gave plenty of space for relaxing with the sounds of birds and running water, but no traffic noise! The millhouse is comfortable and ample for two guests. The hostess, who lives on the estate, is very welcoming and supportive without being intrusive. The surrounding countryside is classically French and provides interesting villages, towns and chateaux for sightseeing ,shopping and dining out. We stayed 4 weeks and would have liked to stay longer.

Stayed at the Moulin de Ségére in August last year. Stunning countryside. The moulin was very comfortable and clean, perfect for a couple. The host Claudine is a lovely lady, always there to help with your every need. If you are looking for a restful stay away from the city, this is the place for you. And in your very own water mill! Nice touch having wifi and TV for the rare rainy days.
