Cozy and relaxing cabin with amazing garden
I stayed here for two nights at the start of October. The cabin was brand new and shiny clean. The property is quaintly furnished and super cozy. The owner of the property has an amazing garden outside with all sorts of plants and herbs growing there (including a pomegranate tree that had fruit when we stayed!). Having a coffee in the garden in the morning and afternoon is highly recommended since it's so peaceful and relaxing.
If you are a biker or hiker, this is a great place to stay. From the house, you can take nice long walks in nature. There is also a historic site nearby called Alona Park / Mei Kedem which boasts an ancient underground waterway that you can walk in. You can also drive from this place to many other attractions in the north (Caesarea, Haifa, Daliyat Al Carmel, Ramat HaNadiv etc).
In summary, if you are seeking a relaxing getaway or a place to spend a few nights as you explore the North of Israel then this place is perfect.
P.S. The dog and cats in the garden are very friendly.

The place I want to go back everyday!
I can't believe it has been a year since I came back from this place!It was so beautiful. I miss the flowers in the yard, I miss the green of the mountain! Thanks for dropping us off at the train station Orli.

Wonderful little peaceful place - I'm planning to go again
Excellent warm and real service. The place was clean and new and the location was great with a wonderful view and complete serenity. Also, living in a home built out of wood is really a great feeling, especially if you live in a noisy bustling city and like to get away and connect to nature once in a while. The furniture and amenities were well chosen and high quality.
It is a great place to have some isolated time to oneself or to share with close ones. We went for a few mind-clearing walks through the fields or on the hills around the area.
I especially liked all the friendly animals (some cats and a dog, all pets of the owner). At some point in the early morning after I woke up I just sat on the ledge watching the beautiful view and within a few minutes I was surrounded by 3 cats and a dog who were watching the view with me. :)
I also liked the special "herbal" tea that the owner made for us from the plants in her backyard!

Chalet inmitten von duftenden Kraeutern und Baeumen
In der "Israelischen Toskana" am Carmelgebirge, befindet sich in einer wunderschoenen Huegellandschaft ein kleines sanftgruenes Holzhaus, in dem man ein Wochenene oder auch einen ganzen Urlaub verbringen kann. Ich fahre aus Tel aviv ab und zu fuer eine ganze Woche zum Schreiben hin. Das Haus liegt inmitten von duftenden Kraeutern, Blumen und Baeumen, ist gemuetlich (aber auch praktisch fuer alle Beduerfnisse) eingerichtet. Schattenplaetze lassen sich rund ums Haus finden. Alles ist pieksauber, liebevoll und geschmackvoll von der Gastgeberin Orli eingerichtet. Sie spricht Deutsch und wer will, kann von ihr viel ueber das Land Israel erfahren. Man kann dort wandern, ans Meer fahren Richtung Caesarea, Staedte wie Zichron Yaakov oder Binyamina besuchen. Tel aviv oder Haifa laden zu Tagesausfluegen ein. Ich kann das Chalet mit Freude empfehlen. Der Ort, das Haus mit seiner angenehmen atmosphaere sind ausgangspunkt fuer gute Erholung von Koerper, Geist und Seele.
Die ankuendigung haelt, was sie verspricht.

A peaceful retreat, yet close to everything
We had a wonderful time at Orli's chalet. First, the setting : it's the country side, there are fields, flowers and cattle all around. Yet, within 15-20 minutes, you can be in Cesarea and in 20-25 minutes in Haifa. Second : the surroundings : there are at least 3 or 4 wineyards to visit within a 10 minute radius. Third, the chalet : it is just the right size, with a kitchen you can use to make dinner, a big and comfortable bed and beautiful deco everywhere. Fourth, but most important : Orli. She is truly one of a kind. We were greeted with home-baked goodies, fresh fruits, and herbs from her garden. When we asked where we could buy more avocados like the one she had provided, she gave us another one. She's the giving type. She invited us one evening to meet a friend of hers, sharing with us wine and cheese. We had the most wonderful evening and I wish we could see each other again. They are such great persons and so generous with their thoughts and experiences. Thank you. It was an experience we will not forget and we hope to return one day.

Hospitality and serenity
I cannot envision a more peaceful home-away-from-home in Israel. After spending some time among the throngs of people in Jerusalem and the hustle and bustle of Tel aviv, Amikam and Orli's lovely chalet proved a welcome respite. Orli is a superb, culturally sensitive, and knowledgeable host, multilingual and full of excellent advice about Israel and the many things to do nearby.
Amikam itself has a well-stocked market and some beautiful walking trails, and as others have mentioned it is a quick drive to many interesting destinations. Orli even knows a shortcut or two you won't find on Wave or Google Maps, while the chalet itself was easy to locate on our GPS. If you prefer seclusion, the chalet would make a lovely writer's retreat or simply a place to recharge during a vacation.
If you're not an animal lover, the friendliness of the cats and dog might be the only thing that would make the chalet anything less than ideal. Otherwise, you're in for an additional treat as they add to the sense of hospitality.
It goes without saying that everything was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and the amenities were plentiful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Escape
This Chalet is amazing! Cozy, clean, comfortable...what more can I say? You walk outside the door and are engulfed in a garden of lavender, pomegranates and array of flowers.
And Orli?? Well...she is just one of the nicest, kindest people we've met. We couldn't thank her enough for all the guidance and advice she gave us for excursions in the surrounding areas not to mention great restaurant suggestions!

This is a beautiful gem of serenity and peace.
Orli is the most wonderful hostess, who pays attention to the details and the overall experience.
It is the most perfect place to take a breath, relax and enjoy life at! I will recommend it in a heartbeat!

A piece of heaven on earth
Stayed for almost a week at this magical place and loved every moment. The cabin is beautiful, full of character, cosy, with a pretty garden and views.
Orly, the owner made us feel at home from the first moment, caring, recommending things to do in the area and was a major part of our whole incredible experience. Thank you so much and will definitely come and visit again.
