Best service I had during COVID times
I booked Floras House for a business conference that got cancelled. The host graciously and quickly offered a voucher. When it became clear that I could not use the voucher in the future as my wife is at risk for COVID, I received a refund just as quickly, even though the host wasn't required to do so! In my experience this level of service is very rare in our uncertain times and shows fantastic customer focus where it really counts. Therefore I am doubly sad to not be able to visit as I'm sure that this dedication would have been apparent in all aspects of my stay. Please refer to the other reviews for details on this. To the team at Floras House I express once again my gratitude and appreciation! I will recommend you to all visitors to Santorini.

Wonderful Stay!
My husband and I just had a wonderful experience and this enchanting location. Besides Santorini being absolutely stunning, we are so happy that we picked Flora’s house to stay at. The room was as cute as can be, I felt like in a Grecian fairytale - i mean there was a pink kitchen!! It’s a great location, far from the touristy madness but with enough amazing restaurants and markets nearby for you to take a stroll in the evening and decompress. A must try is a restaurant called “Rosemary” right up a hill, delicious and spectacular views! The best part was the host (the owner), WOW! Incredibly gracious and helpful, we are forever thankful for all of the recommendations and assistance. He truly made this a memorable experience! I highly recommend!!!

Beautiful apartment with great owners
We stayed at Flora's House Cave Winery for 3 nights and the hosts accomodated us in the best possible way. Mr Giannis and his daughter Flora were really kind and helpful in making our stay enjoyable. When we arrived they welcomed us and explained us the history of the island and all the possible attractions that we needed to see or do. In addition, every morning we were provided with fresh traditional greek breakfast and upon arrival our fridge was full with amenities. The apartment is amazing, spacious and has a great character as it was used in the past as a winery. Generally, our stay at Pyrgos, the highest village of Santorini with an amazing view, was great, so we stronlgy recommend choosing Flora's House for your stay when visiting Santorini!

Buena ubicación, completas instalaciones y servicio maravilloso
La ubicación es perfecta muy cerca de todo pero sin estar en una zona de gran afluencia turística, muy tranquilo pero con servicios. Las instalaciones están muy bien, apartamentos espaciosos, nuevos, muy limpios y con todo lo necesario. Pero lo mejor son los propietarios, pendientes de nosotros en todo momento, nos ofrecieron información útil y detallada y tuvieron con nosotros detalles de acogida que hicieron más agradable nuestra estancia

Spacious apartment with motivated owners in a town with character.
Father John and daughter Flora were wonderful hosts who went far beyond what I expected. John gives a great explanation of the island, things to do etc.  and Flora provides a plate of homemade pastries waiting on the kitchen table. Oh, and they stocked our fridge with drinks which really takes the stress out of finding a market first thing! John also called a scooter company who brought the scooter to the apartments. He also drove us to the port when it was time for us to catch the ferry to the next island. He gives his WhatsApp details so you can contact him for anything and he will help. Also at the end of our stay he kindly took us back to the port as part of his great service. Pyrgos is a very underrated town, it has a lot of character, it feels like a village opposed to Fira or Oia which were hotels swarming with people. It is also the centre of the island so if you have a scooter or car (which John organised for us to arrive at the apartment's gates), you can get to both sides of the island easily and it has some pretty damn good views! The whole island can be seen from their place. We came in August for only 2 nights but were very relieved to escape the masses in Oia and have a very comfortable, spacious apartment (very spacious for Parisian apartment dwellers!). Overall we were extremely pleased with the friendly, generous service and great views. Also to get there from the ferry, we caught a local bus. They are parked across from the port restaurants, they all are different models of bus but have a "Local Bus" sticker on the fronts. Ask for Pyrgos and they'll point you to the right bus. Confirm you want to get off a Pyrgos with the driver and the driver will drop you off, in our case, on the corner of an intersection about a 5 minute walk from the apartments. We GPSed the walk which was easy to find.

Owner was very helpful and had thought of everything
Stayed here two nights during Easter celebrations. Flora's father was very helpful and kind. Met me at the taxi stand, carried my bag up stairs, had nice conversation on porch about his family's history on the island. He later brought up a variety of warm pastries and combined with their homemade marmelade and jams it was a great way to begin my visit to Pyrgos. Big apartment (two bathrooms, lovely bedroom with lots of storage space, living room, nice kitchen and sunny dining area, big porch; clean, freshly painted (note: I didn't stay in the yellow cave-like room featured throughout this website). The fridge was stocked with cold cuts, milk, OJ, bread, eggs, all kinds of coffee, etc. -- thanks! TV, stereo but I never turned them on. Wi-fi worked great. It was a short walk to the "hill" and restaurants. Looks like the owners are serious about their business (or at least the father is-- never met Flora because I was out most of the time). Would like to see them do well. Oh, and he kindly brought me to the airport early on Easter morning. The short street that the house is on is a bit dark for a woman walking alone at night but I felt safe in Pyrgos. The house itself is actually behind a gate which you will have a separate key to enter. Overall, appreciated the effort that was made to make my stay enjoyable at this comfortable, clean inn.
