Disappointing accomodation.
When we arrived at this home we were surprised to see how unclean it was, particularly in the kitchen and main living area. The oven was so dirty we couldn't use it. The dishwasher bottom pull out basket could not be pulled out as something was broken which prevented it from sliding. However the biggest disappointment was that there was a washer/spin dryer in the kitchen. (And a small one at that) Under amenities in the listing it shows the washer and dryer listed separatley, hence one would expect there to be two machines. Had I known this I would not have given this home a second look as we were a family of nine, and planned on bringing a week's supply of clothes for our two week trip, with the assumption we would be able to do our laundry in this home. What a pain that turned into! My husband informed the owner about the oven the second day we were there, but his response was oh, sorry about that! We didn't come on vacation to clean ovens, fridges, stovetops, counters, etc. The beds and showers were ok, but the rest of the house was very tired and needed a deep clean. The spider webs in the corners made for multiple spiders. The recreation room was accessed through the outside and was dirty and full of spiders. The small pool table had chunks of felt torn out of it. We just shut the door and never entered that room again. I have booked many self catering homes in the UK and this one really was a letdown. Pretty upsetting as this was a trip of a lifetime for our family.

Ireland trip
We stayed in this beautiful area in this fantastic house. It accommodates up to 12. We were a party of 12 and it accommodated us perfectly
The children had a very large garden to play in and an additional playroom which was very well equipped with games and toys.
We had barbecue’s and family time which was very comfortable in the large seating area out the back.
We would highly recommend and we would definitely return to this house.

Family holiday
House is in a great position just a short drive to lots of places. It is very spacious and very clean. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay. We were an extended family of 9 adults 3 kids and a baby and dogs. There was plenty of space indoors and outdoors with lots of separate seating areas. Our favourite part was the outdoor area which is completly covered over and can be closed up which came in handy on colder evenings and rainy days. We really enjoyed our stay and i wouldnt hesitate in recommending this place to anyone or returning myself. Paul was so friendly and full of information, and even rang a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was going ok and to check if we had any problems or queries.

Hoilday with family
House was fantastic, spacious and warm, had everything that we needed bbq equipment was a lovely touch an having the space outside to sit was amazing both in hot an cold evening we all had a fab time Paul is so helpful and friendly looking forward to our next trip back to lovely house thank you so much Paul and family

Holiday
Me and my family booked the house it’s a lovely house quiet area shops 10 mins away. it had games for kids large garden tv large house, and the host paul it’s a fantastic man I highly recommend the place

Lovely stay
What can I say was our second time to stay at this lovely house has everything you need home from home. Disabled catered for also
Communication excellent with the owner would definitely stop there again if you want a nice rural setting but close enough to county Cavan and ballyjamesduff this is the place to be all 9 of us enjoyed our stay without a doubt thank you for making our holiday a pleasant stay 5***** house and 5***** over all

Perfect house for group stay .
Stayed here with 10 friends for a weekend, and it was perfect from start to finish . The house has 3 seating tv
areas, and large kitchen so plenty of room for everyone . The bed rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. There is a fantastic outdoor area with seating and a bbq to use . We as a group will definitely be back hopefully this summer . Paul our host was so helpful with all enquiries before our stay and kept on contact while at house to ensure we had everything . Couldn’t recommend this place enough .

Brilliant
Just come to the end of another fantastic family break staying in this cottage. It's a great size for our extended family, has everything you need. The owner Paul is so helpful and quick to respond to any enquiry. Will be booking again.

Great stay
Myself family and friends stayed in this massive house it had everything you needed to make your stay enjoyable, if you had kids teenagers they wouldn't be bored there's a large games room with football tables air hockey,dart board,board games and books. It's a great place for families as it sleeps 13 there was 10 of us and we had plenty of room. You had the choice of 3 sitting rooms we mainly sat in the kitchen area sofas in there as well.theres an area outside that has a roof, 2 tables and chairs and a BBQ it would be amazing in the summer only 2 miles to Kilnaleck village the boys were in a little pub called Piuses they said it had a great atmosphere. We had a fantastic stay would definitely go back and Paul the owner was fantastic and very welcoming he explained everything and rang me to make sure everything was ok we had no problems Co Cavan is so beautiful only sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Family Gathering
Good location for family gathering. Plenty of space for ten adults, two children and two dogs. Garden was excellent. Good space indoors.
