The surroundings are gorgeous and the interior feels like home. The location is secluded and very private which is what we were looking for. The villa manager was very friendly and willing to assist and receive feedback on everything. I must say I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this villa without hesitation.

Great stay !
My family and I had a wonderful time at the villa. Beautiful view both day and night. Family of 12 , both children and adult slept comfortably. Colin , the house manager was easily accessible at all times .
However, like others stated a vehicle is a must have.
Minor repairs can also be done .
Great stay overall. Would definitely book again

Opinion on Plantation View
The location was exquisite with a beach view in the distant along with low lying areas. The exterior of the house was well kept with a botanical as well as fruits landscape. However at the initial the bathrooms were not tidy until a complaint was made. The kitchen utensils were badly kept
and the fixtures were deplorable.

Wonderful secluded holiday getaway
We arrived on April 15th, hired our car at the airport and made our way to the villa where we were met by the affable Colin who showed us around and gave us some tips on places to visit during our stay. First impressions were ' Wow, what a view!'~ the property is high up and this means that there is a great vista of the sea and the towns below. The gardens are filled with all kinds of amazing flowers and plants with mangoes, grapefruit and mandarins among others and we saw lizards, hummingbirds, mot mots as well as having visits from the local chickens.
We visited a few of the beaches, the best being Pigeon Point which is well worth the few dollars it costs to get in and then to hire sunbeds.
We went on a tour of the island and enjoyed swimming at the Argyll waterfalls and a stop off at Castara where we watched the locals pulling in their fishing nets from our seats at the bar on stilts. Another trip out saw us going to Fort King George at Scarborough, which was full of local history, and a short visit to Bacolet beach where the Swiss family Robinson was filmed in 1975. We enjoyed breakfasting at House of Pancakes, at the turn off to Pigeon Point, and also a drink and fries at Legger's bar near Mount Irvine bay, our local beach. We ate at the villa most nights, making full use of the barbecue, and got some really excellent meat from the meat shop at Golden Grove. A special mention for a place to visit is Sunday School at Buccoo, just down the road, where you can enjoy a steel band and a bit of a flutter on a version of roulette.
The villa is homely, the pool table a source of evening entertainment and the pool affording a welcome dip during the heat of the day.
Everyone we met was really friendly and welcoming; All the neighbours say hello and we felt really welcomed by everybody we met.
Our two week stay was over before we knew it. Check-in at the airport was a very easy going experience as the airport is so small, but get your souvenirs before you leave as you can only really buy cigarettes and alcohol in duty free.
Would recommend as a great place to stay as it is so easy to get to everything but a car is a necessity as you are 500ft above sea level and up a winding road, which is why you have such wonderful views. This island is well worth a second visit as there is so much to see and do.

Another fantastic stay
So glad we booked this villa again.
Since our last visit Mr Barry has made some updates and they certainly are impressive.
New lounge furniture and reshuffle of other sofas has made it more homely..
New cooker, not that we cooked inside much, and new soft furnishings to bedrooms.
You just can't get tired of the view...day or night...
We even got to know the local fishermen.

Christmas at Plantation View
The house was beautiful..and has been updated a bit from the pictures.. the view was spectacular and we enjoyed the pool! My family had a great time and we will definitely book again...a few issues arised but most were solvable. The rooms were comfortable except for the air conditioning downstairs not working properly.. the upstairs fridge gave out on us but it was difficult to solve this during the holiday. The downstairs one worked fine. Also some more mats needed and gas tank downstairs as well.
Barry was a pleasure to deal with and answered every question and concern.. I would recommend staying as I feel that these issues would be dealt with.

Awesome Experience
I must say my family and I had a great time at the Plantation View..Spacious,clean and comfortable environment...I would gladly recommend to anyone wishing to have a family vacation or even reunion...Mr Robinson was very welcoming to my family stay...and openly answered all questions asked...very professional service I must say...I am sure I will be going again in the future..

Fun, Relaxing Family Vacation!
My family & I arrived for a 3 day vacation following our stay at a resort in Tobago and it was perfect. From the time we arrived at the Villa - Colin was super accommodating, helpful and a pleasure to meet in person - he even went the extra mile to get us a blender!
Barry the owner was extremely responsive to all my questions before and even after our stay. Everything Barry promised we received. The pool was the main attraction for the kids, the upper open air dining area was where the adults ate, drank and enjoyed this beautiful villa and view. I wish our stay was longer. Thank you again for everything Colin & Barry!

Family-Friendly Getaway
A wonderful weekend was enjoyed at the Villa. The kids had a grand time in the pool and the availability of the bbq pit and all the other amenities, made it even better. I must say that the view is very breath-taking, we felt as though we were not even in Tobago (seeing that we live here). Nice and clean surroundings were a plus. Commendations must also be made about your manager as he was available to assist when we needed him.
It was indeed a pleasure to stay and we would gladly return..... a home away from home....

Perfect location for a family get together or a vacation with the kids
The location was easy to find as there were specific landmarks one could follow but having a vehicle is highly recommended. All basic amenities were provided, very spacious and kids friendly. The view was just gorgeous, especially at night. The villa manager was very accommodating. Definitely will be making a next booking....Thanks Barry R
