Another Year in Paradise
This is our fourth year staying at Las Palmas.
If you are looking for a tranquil, beautiful, private setting for your vacation, Las Palmas needs to be on your list of places to check out. It is located about 21/2 miles outside of the Port of Santa Cruz, up on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A short walk to the Light House gives you a beautiful view of the rugged coastline.
Las Palmas is professionally maintained by a staff of gardeners, maintenence personel and caretakers. The casitas are cleaned daily by a competent and friendly staff of maids.
A short walk brings you to one of two nearby beaches. One beach is very private and secluded with snorkeling areas and a small beach. The other beach has palapas where Mexican culture and an authentic Mexican lunch can be enjoyed while watching the surf roll in from the Pacific along with another great snorkeling area.
Las Palmas is a unique and enjoyable destination for your vacation.

What more could you want?
To add our thoughts about Las Palmas. We've stayed here 8 weeks over the last three years and we've already booked for next year!
We feel this place is special for a couple reasons. It is unique in that it is all by itself, on the rugged edge of National Park property. It is not in a residential neighborhood, not in a commercial area but it's hardly secluded. We walk to both Santa Cruz (about 2 miles) & La Crucecita (about 2.5 miles). Also, an easy walk down to La Entrega for beach activities like snorkeling, lunch & tropical drinks. Violin beach is right below Las Palmas and usually very quiet and very beautiful. Our son proposed to his girlfriend while snorkeling on there!
We love the fact there are only 5 casistas and 3 villas at Las Palmas. It is small enough to get to know other vacationers & share the amenities, but still plenty of privacy to do your own thing.
Looking forward to Las Palmas every year makes the daily grind much easier to endure!

Romantic getaway
If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful place to vacation, Las Palmas is the place! My boyfriend and I stayed her for a romantic getaway and cannot wait to go back. We stayed in one of the casitas, which was not only beautiful, but comfortable as well. The staff at Las Palmas are so helpful, and are always there to help in any way needed. Neither of us spoke Spanish, but the onsite concierge was so helpful and bridged the language barrier. The grounds are gorgeous and immaculately maintained and there are amazing views from every vantage point.
Whether you are adventurous or simply want to relax, Las Palmas and the surrounding areas have so many activities to offer. There is white water rafting, ATV riding, beaches, hiking, and amazing food! And of course the pools and beaches at Las Palmas are always available.
We had such a wonderful week it was hard to come home. We will recommend Las Palmas to all of our friends and family and cannot wait to return.

Muy limpio pero lejos de todo
Prepárate con víveres antes de ir por que no hay servicio de comidas ni bebidas en el lugar. Si lo que quieres es pasar un fin de semana en una casa con alberca el lugar está excelente. Si lo que buscas es playa y entretenimiento no hay mucho alrededor.

Que bueno que disfrutaste Las Palmas. Para tu proxima visita te quiero comentar que hay servicio de cocinera en cada villa que incluye ir de compras. Tambien te comento que Playa la Entrega esta a 500 metros de Las Palmas y tiene varios restaurantes, jet-skis, lanchas, equipo y lugar para snorkle, banana boats y mas! Espero que nos vemos pronto.

Very nice. Great staff.
Wonderful, mostly quiet retreat. Staff is wonderful. Oscar was so helpful with everything. Cleaning Staff was excellent. Grounds are gorgeous! Cooks did wonders with the fish we caught.
Only reason for not giving 5 stars is some of the furnishings need to be replaced. But I understand that with the pandemic it probably hasn't been feasible. Also need a few more loungers. But we would definitely return.
