We Had a Great Time!
We rented the Park view home from Christel for two weeks in April. I needed a place that would accomodate my elderly parents, and my wife and I, while we visited family in nearby Leon and San Francisco. The house was clean and spacious, equipped with the basic necessities (refrigerator, microwave, range, WIFI, etc.), as advertised and very secure. It was a comfortable home base where we could relax, cook, watch movies, and share time with family between adventures.
The house was only a 5 min. walk to Paseo de la Presa, where one could catch a bus or taxi, and several great restaurants were within a 10 minute walk. The city Centro with its great sights/attractions was only a 25 min. walk/40 peso taxi ride away. Word to the wise: bring comfortable walking shoes, as THAT is the best way to get around efficiently!
The location was also central to the historic and beautiful cities of San Miguel Allende and Dolores Hidalgo, as well as big city shopping in Leon - all just a little over one hour away.
Christel had only recently taken over this property and was still settling in herself, but was always very responsive to our needs. She was also helpfull with suggestions for things to see and do. We'll look forward to seeing her on a future visit!

Enjoyed our Vacation
Our stay at park view was pleasant. The rental was comfortable and adequate for the 8 of us. The water pressure was great and we never lost hot water. All of the appliances were functioning and appropriate for our needs. The beds were comfortable and clean… We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace; the view was lovely and peaceful. The location was quite pleasing and we were very gratified that my mother did not have a steep walk to home. She has a heart condition so this place was just right for her, plus the taxis would bring us almost to the door. We mostly took the bus from Park View to the Centro or other destinations. If you’re a walker/runner, this is a great place for that. We really enjoyed our stay, it’s in a great location… Regarding the rental owner, Christel… I can’t say enough about her, she was awesome and very attentive to needs. She gave us guidance and offered help when needed. I would stay there again..

Christel made us feel like family
This is a great home for a family vacation. The living room is large enough to comfortably seat 8 people. We always felt very secure in the compound and Christel was very accessible to answer questions that should arise. It was also convenient to the bus stop to ride into the historic district should you not care to walk the relaxing half hour walk into town. The only down side was the steep steps to the top two floors, but we soon adjusted to that. It would be difficult to navigate the stairs for people with leg problems or elderly folks.
