Interacción con los huéspedes:  Both Françoise and I are happy to assist with your vacation needs. Before and during your stay. I am living near by, year round. I enjoy meeting our new guests and sharing some tips with them. I generally don't come knocking on your door in respect of your privacy and rest. Our maid Virginia or Lurdes are very trustworthy and will come by to clean your suite a few times in the week. You can request that she come at an earlier or later time of day up until 3pm.

A nice place to stay....
This is a great place to stay when you’re in Playa del Carmen. Is only a block away from the beach and the main shopping areas. The owner (Joe) went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He even help when I was given a parking citation by going to the police station and handling the situation for us. Now, that’s what I call customer service.

Beautiful stay
Antigua villa wad just as advertised, we loved every details of it and especially that beautiful patio where we enjoyed our evening drinks with family.We fully utilized pool that seemed to be only to yourself. It was lovely stay in overall near by beach and tourist area was few blocks away to buy souvenirs and enjoy night life. Would definitely recommend to friends! Thank you Joseph!

Too expensive
A nice place with plenty of space for the family. The location is quiet, away from the main 5th Avenue activities but still good access to most amenities. Our tour operators and taxi drivers found it difficult to find. The pool is very small and the local beach was full of seaweed, disappointing, as we felt we had paid a premium for the pool and location.

We are discouraged to find an average rating of our suite :( It matters very much to us, that our guests have a positive experience during their stay. We work very hard to achieve that caliber of accommodation, to earn the stars that represents our effort to provide something above ordinary. We thank you for time to share your experience in our Antigua suite. It pleases us to read your description in how we provided an ample and appealing space for your family. That our location was quiet, yet very close to amenities! Most of our guests find us very well priced considering what we provide and the convenience of our location. Our listings are transparent, describing in words and with accurate photos, the size of our pool. We’re not sure how it is you felt misinformed. We usually have great feedback from families about the comfortable size it provides. …. The beaches along all the Caribbean do receive seaweed in various parts during this season. You can still find areas with little or no seaweed along the beach. This phenomena includes the entire region, fortunately …it’s only temporary! We do live nearby and enjoy interacting with our guests, suggesting places to visit or assisting transportation needs. Helping to make their stay fantastic.

Ns sommes restés 5 jrs ds cet appartement et 2 ds celui appelé le Ste Lucie au penthouse avec nos 2 filles de 7 et 9 ans. Très confortable et agréable. Les matelas, oreillers, draps, serviettes, tt est propres et agréable. La cuisine bien équipée. La petite piscine bien fraîche. Pas vraiment bruyant car en retrait de la rue même si tt est proche. Bien insonorisé également des autres appartements.

Pretty Suite, lovely courtyard and great location.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The courtyard is lovely and because this suite is the only one on the ground floor, no one else seems to use it. It was perfect to sit out by the pool or the seating area off the dining room. It was private enough for us but it is an open design with only one shower-not an issue for us either. Small sink and toilet room upstairs. We did feel that the price is a little high. Playa del Carmen seems to be getting more expensive. It is located on a quiet street and we found parking on the side streets and only on the first night, we had to park 6 or so blocks away(it was a Friday evening).

We appreciate your time to share your positive experience in our Antigua suite! The outdoor sitting areas were designed to promote a sense of privacy, each having their own perspective to enjoy from. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed you that space! The rates reflect the peak season in which you visited us. They do adjust throughout the year. Its important to us that our guests feel their experience was wonderful, but also a great value. So we'll certainly take a look at them, as we strive to price our suites conscientiously, together with providing quality accommodations. assuring great value for your experience. Wonderful oasis in Playa Del Carmen-would love to return one day
Wow. This was even better than expected. The pictures don't really do it justice. It is HUGE! We stayed for six nights and enjoyed the Antigua Suite very much. It's kind of eclectic and different in all the best ways. The decor is very artsy and the suite has a very open and airy feel. The floors are amazingly beautiful and all of the wood used in the upstairs floors and doors, just gorgeous. Loved the four poster beds (super comfortable) and all of the ceiling fans. It's also super secure with a locking front gate to the courtyard with the plunge pool. We never used the pool, but saw it being cleaned often. Although we didn't use it much, the kitchen is perfectly stocked. The entire place was immaculate too. The location is absolutely perfect. Busy 5th where all the action is, is merely a block away. Shopping, dining, music, pharmacies, bars, were everywhere. Highly recommend Parilla's nearby, (sesame chicken fajitas) and believe it or not Texas Burger Company, when we craved burgers was phenomenal, both the service and food. Right across the street is indeed wonderful for breakfast, as many other reviewers have mentioned. The entire area felt extremely safe and we never had a worry or felt uncomfortable, ever. Some of the other renters could get pretty loud at night, but the A/C ( which works perfectly) covered a lot of it up. A little bonus to look/watch for. Every single morning there were anywhere from 3-5 VERY large iguanas sunning themselves on the ledge just outside the living area window. Fascinating to watch them at times when they wrestled! At night, we several times saw a raccoon family going back and forth on the same ledge. Adorable. Making the arrangements was super simple, and the owners always responded to questions in a timely manner. Antigua Suite is truly an oasis and it was hard to leave at the end of our trip. Really ended up feeling like 'home'. It's perfect, don't hesitate to book it if you have found this listing.

Muy buena opción
La casa es muy cómoda y bonita, está muy bien decorada, muy limpia, buenas camas, cocina bien alhajada (faltaban algunos vasos) , cuenta con aire acondicionado y ventiladores en el cielo, posee un baño completo en el primer piso y otro sin ducha en el segundo. Hay una patio interior con una piscina , extremadamente agradable para darse un chapuzón después de llegar de la playa. Está ubicada a pocos pasos de la 5ta Avenida, en pleno centro y a una cuadra de la playa, el lugar es muy tranquilo. Hay todo tipo de comercio a pocos pasos. Francoise fue muy amable, coordinó para nosotros el transporte aeropuerto-casa-aeropuerto, Joe nos facilitó la estadía y nos proporcionó algún elemento que requerimos.

Excelente Lugar
Viajamos mi esposo, mi hijo y yo y estuvimos 8 noches en la Antigua Suite. Es un lugar perfecto y maravilloso para una estadía relajada. Somos amantes de la comodidad y exigentes en lo que se refiere a la limpieza y logistica. Todo estuvo perfecto. Los propietarios son muy atentos desde el inicio de la consulta sobre la propiedad hasta el final de su servicio y todo es tal cual se ofrece, pero no están entrometiéndose ni fastidiando en la puerta todos los días (me ha pasado en otros lugares). El traslado desde el aeropuerto puntual y muy bueno. Hay una señora encantadora que ofrece su servicio de limpieza a un bajo costo y nos colaboro los días que no estaban incluidos en el pago. La propiedad fue mas que suficiente para los tres pero pienso que si no es molestia o no son muy exigentes en el tema de espacio y comodidad absoluta, podrían llegar a hospedarse hasta 2 huéspedes mas. Creo que no esta en ninguna parte pero los armarios y closets son muy cómodos para guardar todo en orden. Hay toallas de bano y de playa en buen estado. Los utensilios de cocina son buenos y hay de todo para cocinar como en casa. LA decoración es muy linda, los pisos son preciosos, la ropa de cama, buena. Hay lavadora y un pequeño patio para tender las cosas humedas. Afuera hay una terraza exterior deliciosa para fumar o relajarse. La piscina resulto muy fría y solo la uso mi esposo una vez. La ubicación es perfecta. El edificio es viejo sin embargo tiene mucha identidad, muy pintoresco, de esos que quedan en el recuerdo para siempre. Si buscas algo moderno, minimalista y de concepto masivo, esta no es la propiedad para usted. En el lugar te sientes como en las Antillas, me recordó Bonaire. Esta cerca de la playa aunque infortunadamente esta estaba llena de algas (toda la playa de Ciudad del Carmen presentaba ese fenómeno sin precedente, según los locales) y cerca de la 5ta Avenida que de verdad es muy interesante, divertida y con muchas opciones para hacer, ver, comprar y disfrutar de muchas opciones para comer y pasar un rato delicioso. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Para mi fue una bonita experiencia.

"Antigua Suite is an elegant dream house only a few steps away from the best spots in Playa"
A few friends and I (5 people total) stayed at the Antigua Suite in Plantation House for 5 days and absolutely loved it. First off, the property is absolutely gorgeous! There is a pool and patio area to chill with your friend and the house is beautifully designed with bright colors and crisp whites to give your stay the ultimate vacation feel. The Plantation house feels very private yet is a stone's throw away from all the action. The beach, best restaurants, and hottest clubs are all equal distances away from the house. Never more than a 5 min. walk so it's ideal. Moreover, the house was fully equipped with all the necessary gadgets including iphone speakers, TV, kitchen appliances, everything. We didn't find ourselves needing anything that wasn't already provided for us. The area is lovely to stroll through during the day with cute shops and coffee spots one after another and it is equally fun at night to hop from club to club (you can't hear any noise from the street inside the house) or to enjoy a great meal at a nice restaurant. Overall, the Antigua Suite is a gem. It's ideal for a nice relaxing beach stay with fun options to pursue at night. It is a gorgeous place to live in and it feels as though all the Playa action revolves around it. Highly recommended!

Great place and a great location
We stayed here for 5 days in April and could not have been happier with our choice. The apartment is spacious and very cleaan. The pool is small but very clean and we never had to share it with anyone. The hosts are super nice and will help you with anything you need. One block from 5 avenida but still very quiet and calm. We have a 2 year old daugther with us and she was never bothered at night. Internet works well but the TV could need a small upgrade, not that we ever felt the need to watch it. All in all, I wouldn't even look for any other place if we go back to Playa.
