Shawn, thank you so much for the amazing communication and perfect vacation at El Faro Reef 202 in Playa Del Carmen. My husband and I, with our two boys 12 and 13, visited Shawn's condo for a week in December. The booking process and communication regarding the property, check in, parking, dining and activities was above and beyond. Shawn was quick to respond to all emails and was so helpful before, during and even checking in with us after our trip. The check in gal was so sweet, greeting me by name when we arrived and had everything ready to go even though we were much later than expected. The staff at the complex were so friendly and helpful and keep the location secure. Parking below with secure gate was so convenient and staff moved all our bags to our room for us at check in. We took a rental car from Cancun airport, stopped in at Mega for essentials, then checked in. The condo is beautiful with everything you need. Two spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and two separate bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay for our family of four. The balcony over looks the pool and beach for the perfect place to relax in the morning and evenings. The pool was beautiful and clean and never crowded, with outdoor showers for switching from beach to pool easily. Such a bonus to have a washer and drier in the condo. The kitchen has everything you need although we went for a walk for pretty much every meal and spent endless hours just walking up and down 5th Ave, deciding where to dine or sit for a cold drink when our legs were tired. We also loved walking the beach and hitting up the beach bars and restaurants. So close to everything! One of our boys really wanted to see Lucha Libre so we took a taco/tequila/Lucha Libre tour in Cancun one night, a 4x4 Cenote tour the next, ferry to Cozumel (walking distance to ferry dock) for scuba diving another day, parasailing the next. The rest of the trip we were all content to relax at our amazing accommodation, pool and beach, and wander 5th Ave. You cannot find a better location than Shawn's condo and you cannot find a better host. We stayed in 203 El Faro Reef. This was an awesome location only a short block to the famous 5th Avenue for all the shopping and restaurants you need! Laura was the management company's consultant and she was absolutely beyond wonderful and helpful. She looked after every need we had and expeditiously as well. The suite overlooked the ocean and pool, it came extremely well equipped, provided free calls to anywhere in Canada or the US and was clean and very comfortable. Shawn the owner was awesome even allowing us a late checkout due to our flight being delayed 4 hours. All four of us highly recommend this vacation rental without any hesitation whatsoever! Thank you Shawn and most definitely Laura as well.

The view, pools, location and amenities were as advertised. There were couples, friends and family groups. The condo is steps away from all kinds of shopping and many restaurants. You won't be disappointed!

We recently returned from Playa del Carmen after a wonderful two week stay at this condo. The condo is well situated on the beach where we enjoyed the morning sunrises looking out from the large deck. The condo is in great condition and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The regular cleanings, replenishment of fresh drinking water and a really responsive management team only made our visit better. We enjoyed snorkeling, deep sea fishing and walking to the many restaurants and shops on 5th Ave. The staff at El Faro are the best! We will be returning soon.

This is a fantastic condo right on the beach and literally minutes from Playa del Carmen's "Avenue" filled with restaurants and shops. The condo is very well maintained and equipped with all you need to cook at home when you want. We loved our stay here and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

We booked the condo to accommodate my family as our first vacation together since the pandemic. The location was amazing! Right on the beach with walking distance to the restaurants, shops and clubs for my young adult children. The condo was so clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and utensils to cook. The host was superb to work with! Very accommodating and flexible. I really appreciate how attentive he was in responding. My son left his watch and he made arrangements to have it shipped back to us. I will definitely be back and look forward to working with Shawn again.

My daughter and I just returned from an amazing stay at El Faro Reef 202. The condo is spacious and clean AND WELL EQUIPED! The location on the second floor made watching the sunrise each morning exceptional. The property is located on the beach and the beaches are cleaned every morning. Located 1/2 block from 5th Ave, we found amazing restaurants and shopping just minutes from the condo. The midweek cleanings were nice and having newer appliances, including a washer and dryer was great for us because we like to pack light and choose to cook at home. The Super Walmart Grocery is 5 blocks away (we walked there) - bring your own bags and take a taxi home (500 pesos for taxi ride back). The selection of fresh fruits and needed groceries was vast! The owner of the condo, Shawn, was responsive, friendly and very helpful in helping us find info such as covid testing (at our visit the USA required negative covid tests before re-entry to the USA). The staff at El Faro are just fabulous. Did I mention massage on site? At our visit the cost for a 1 hour massage was $30.00. I have stayed at El Faro before but Reef 202 is where we are booking two additional trips for 2020 and 2021. You will be very happy in this unit!

Pour ceux ou celles qui hésite à louer un condo à Playa Del Carmen... Vous devez louer le Reef 202 du complexe El Faro ! Modalité plus que facile et conviviale avec le propriétaire, Mr. Weyrauch, VRBO, Caribbean beach properties, le complexe lui-même. Tous impliqué, et sont là pour vous aider. Rien à voir avec un tout inclus ! Vous ne pouvez être plus près de l'action, à 5 min de la fameuse quinta avenida !, la transquilité assurée à votre retour le soir. Le condo Reef 202 avec ces deux chambres (4 lits possibles) et deux salle de bain, la vue sur la piscine et la plage ... juste wow. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est là, l'épicerie, le Walmart à 10-15 min de marche. Bref, pas besoin d'auto. Faites comme moi, faites vos devoirs, booker un vol, organiser le transfert entre l'aéroport et le condo, faites vous une caisse commune pour l'épicerie de groupe, et vous voilà au paradis pour moins qu'un tout inclus, l'emplacement, la qualité, la liberté en PLUS !!! N'hésiter surtout pas à communique avec VRBO et/ou Shawn Weyrauch, propriétaire du Reef 202 pour prendre les infos, vous ne pouvez pas le regretter, succès de vacances à coup sur !!!
