CHEZ PAULINE is just 1 of our 7 fully self catering Gites here at "Mas Saint Antoine", this 17thC renovated farmhouse & converted outbuildings that make up the 7 gites is set in 2/3rds of an acre amidst open fields & orchards. Being on the main road between Avignon and St-Remy we are ideally situated for exploring all the best that Provence has to offer with no greater drive than 60mins to see it all. Our grounds have been fully landscaped into various garden themes and include a 12 x 6m swimming pool, summer house, a pond with waterfall, 300 year old olive trees and several secluded seating areas dotted around the grounds. “Chez Pauline”(35m2) is the rebuilt & renovated stables. A delightful 1 bedroom attached end cottage. Entry is direct from the parking area into the separate lounge which receives mid morning sun & comprises a futon couch which can fold out into a bed for a child only. A corner TV unit complete with TV, std French channels & UK free to view channels. A door leads into the fully fitted & equipped galley style kitchen complete with dishwasher, gas stove/hob combination, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster etc. The round table is large enough to seat 4 comfortably. A pair of french windows opens out onto the 'wisteria' shaded outdoor dining area which can be used as a servery. Off the kitchen/dining room, & at the back is the bedroom & ensuite, the queen size (150x190) bed backs onto the glass block walled ensuite with shower & WHB. A small separate room contains the WC. There is a free standing wardrobe unit complete with internal shelves & a small writing desk. An air conditioning unit in the bedroom provides air flow through into the kitchen dining room. A pair of French doors, off the bedroom leads to a small shaded paved patio with wrought iron furniture & the separate 'wisteria' shaded outdoor dining suite. Next to the patio area is your own gas BBQ. To top it off, the kitchen/dining room & bedroom receives late afternoon sun & is a wonderful place to watch the setting sun, a spectacular end to a Provencal summer day. All linens and bathroom towels are supplied free of charge. Free access to separate pool towels is also available. Laundry facilities including free detergent, is shared with the other guests on a rotational basis. Swimming pool and large gardens shared with the other guests.

There are 6 other gites on the property who share the same gardens & pool. All children MUST be supervised at all times in the gardens & around the pool. Smoking is allowed outside on your own terrace or balcony. NO parties, gatherings, loud noises, music or loud talking outside after 11.00pm. Well behaved dogs are welcome, (daily fee applicable) MUST not bark, MUST be on a leash while on the property & MUST not be left alone inside the gites. There are free range chickens on the property.

Desplazamientos

Whilst a car is recommended seeing the sights can also be achieved by using public transport. Mas Saint Antoine is a 10min walk from the nearest bus stop on the "57" bus route between Avignon & Saint Remy de Provence. The bus terminates at the Gare Routiere just outside the walls of Avignon where you can connect to other bus routes and at the other end in the centre of Saint Remy de Provence, during the high season the route continues to Arles.
