L’Oasis is a very comfortable and pleasant facility, and a large family or group of friends could enjoy a fine holiday there. The rooms are spacious with colourful bedding and good paintings and objets d’art. Both the pool and the air conditioning are godsends on hot days and we used the outdoors kitchen and barbeque frequently. The kitchen itself is adequate – the appliances are excellent and include two refrigerators and an induction cooktop, although the oven is quite small for the number of people one might be cooking for. One of the toilets, separate from the bathroom, consistently smelled of urine from the day we arrived although it appeared to be very clean and there were plenty of cleaning products there. The culprit seemed to be built up uric scale under the rim of the toilet bowl. After much scrubbing we were able to remove most of it though some remained when we left, but we did not have a wire brush to get it all off. I did not have an opportunity to tell M.Marande. M. Marande lives next door and tends to be responsive to requests for help. However when the electricity went out one evening he did not answer phone calls and emails and we spent a night in the dark until he showed up the next day to reset the control panel – something we could have done ourselves if we had known where it was – a book of instruction would have bee helpful. A couple of days before we left a hinge broke on a glass door on one of the kitchen cabinets, and crashed to the floor while several small children stood nearby. Luckily only one person was slightly cut by the shards of glass. When we told M. Marande he demanded payment although the hinge had failed – we did not break it. He left angry, and returned the next day still angry. I was finishing washing the kitchen floor The previous day and that morning we had spent hours scrubbing the bathrooms and washing the floors. We had washed all the towels except those we had used that morning; we had stripped all the beds and even spent more time on the smelly toilet, thinking this was a favour for M. Marande and the next tenants. But M. Marande insisted that the place was as filthy and in stream of invective shouted that the place was worse than a bordello several times. He went from room to room seeking confirmation, and found a Q-tip under one bed. He ordered us off the premises. He billed us €125 for cleaning through VRBO, insisting that we had not cleaned and he had found “objects” under the beds. Since my husband and I are in our eighties it is possible we did miss something under a bed – I did miss the Q-tip, after all. Indeed, if the option of paying for cleaning had been offered before we cleaned ourselves I would have welcomed it. However I have rented vacation properties for 40 years, from Sydney to Scotland and in between- including in France. We have never been accused of leaving a place dirty, and certainly have never suffered such abusive language from a landlord. I let the cleaning bill go through since we were still traveling and not in a position to dispute it – although, of course, this is what bullies expect you to do. So to sum up: The place is very nice and you’ll have a great time if you stay on the right side of a volatile and uncouth owner.

This is a perfect Family Holiday Location with everything you would need available at the Villa. Claude is also a very accommodating and helpful owner who is available for any of your needs at a moments notice. We had 10 adults and 5 children and they all enjoyed the many facilities on site including the swimming Pool, Ping Pong and Pool table. We used the outside BBQ every day and enjoyed breakfast of Pain au chocolate, Croissants and the baguettes from the local patisserie which was only 10 minutes walk away. We will definitely be re-booking this location. Thank you Claude.

We had booked well in advance for our family holiday, but due to the pandemic we were concerned whether we would be able to go. Before we acted, Claude got in touch and offered us the full return of our deposit, which we have received. I am very impressed with this man's integrity and, hopefully, will be able to stay in the future.

L'accueil du propriétaire fut plus que sympathique et convivial. Maison spacieuse très bien équipé avec un vrai frigo américain, propre et bien situé. Tout y était pour passer un joyeux week-End. Rien à redire, je conseille sans hésiter.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille et entre amis dans cette très belle villa. Claude nous a très gentiment accueilli et a été de bon conseil pour visiter la région. La maison est très spacieuse et l'extérieur très agréable avec une végétation dépaysante. Claude nous a très gentiment et gracieusement renvoyé un objet que nous avions oublié dans la maison. Bref un logement à recommander absolument !

Cette demeure très spacieuse est tellement agréable que l'on se trouve aussi bien que chez soi en famille pour tous se retrouver sans se sentir les uns sur les autres. Jardin magnifique même en cette période où nous avons profité de celui ci grâce à une belle terrasse. Propriétaire très sympathique et disponible. Nous y reviendrons très vite. J

De grands espaces au calme une maison où on se sent comme chez soi un accueil très agréable et rapide. Super week-end en famille

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine avec un groupe d'amis dans cette villa spacieuse. Très bien située pour visiter les environs qui ne manquent pas de charme. Minerve, Carcassonne, Narbonne ; il y a beaucoup d'endroits à découvrir et la mer n'est pas très loin. Le propriétaire est charmant et disponible tout en étant discret. Le jardin est magnifique et tout est fait pour que les vacanciers passent un agréable séjour.

Super gîte . Très fonctionnel pour 16 personnes. On se retrouve au coin salon, à la cuisine d été tous ensemble pour un moment très convivial. Les chambres sont très spacieuses. Le propriétaire est très disponible et très agréable . Je recommande fortement pour passer un week end entre amis .
